Kamen Rider Black RX filler free?
Hello Kamen Rider fans,
I'm new here and would like to start watching Kamen Rider Black RX. However, I would like to avoid fillers and just watch the episodes that contribute to the main story. "TheDreadWolf" created a great abridged or filler free guide for Kamen Rider Black. Can Kamen Rider Black RX fans help? Thank you all in advance. |
It’s an 80s series. There aren’t a lot of episodes that contribute to the main plot until the last few episodes.

Not that I'm telling you how to watch these things, or anything, but I do want to fly the flag for these older shows as, well, I'm biased, I love them. :p |
I'm sorry swerving the conversation, but I've always wondered why people have such a problem with "filler" in the first place. It's not like people only make "important" episodes, and everything else just happens by accident.
Now, I don't think I get to tell people how to watch a show, but I just don't understand it. Can someone explain why people think "filler" is bad? |

I don't really know. Insert here a ramble about how people have shorter attention spans now, and they're always looking at the phones, and imagine me shaking my walking stick at children playing on the lawn. |

But yeah idk why but the term filler leaves a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to Tokusatsu. Especially when like, you only get so many episodes with these characters before moving onto the next series, why wouldn't you want some little detour episodes just having neat and relaxing adventures? I prefer the term episodic over filler, and I feel like it works really well in some cases. Garo is a franchise where a lot of the episodes end up being episodic and while plot beats do occur in the background, it isn't really the focus until certain points and it isn't a big overarching narrative. Or in another case, Ultraman, where in older series, the plot is very, very non-existent for the purpose of telling unique and interesting one-shot stories. It's why I prefer a lot of older Ultraman to the newer incarnations because like you're giving me a new world to explore, let's not be all doom and gloom with plot, show me the various little inner workings of this new world. Which I feel like Z handled pretty well with how Celebro and his stuff played a backseat to other things and how he only became relevant when necessary. Oh dear I'm rambling, but long story short, I hate the term filler being used in Tokusatsu series and prefer it as being called Episodic, and I will vouch for that kind of direction in Toku because I feel it works in its favor. |
I mean, regardless of opinions on it - and I agree with a lot of points here - I think it's fair enough to assume the best of someone and respect their reasonings, here. There's nothing wrong with just wanting to watch the cliffnotes version of RX

I think I should just leave this alone now. Sorry if I've caused any trouble here. |
