S.H. Figuarts X Chogokin Itasha Robo Size Comparison
21 Attachment(s)
Hikonin Henkei! Have you seen Tokunations' gallery of the S.H. Figuarts X Chogokin Itasha Robo courtesy of Sentai Tamashii? If you haven't then check it out! Today we're providing you with an additional gallery of the colossul Itasha Robo as well. This one is special however. We aren't focusing on the transformation or features of this beast, but instead the size of it. You'll see the Itasha robo compared in vehicle and robot modes to the likes of Daivoyager, King Pyramider, Engine Oh G12, Machalcon and more!
Please note that this gallery isn't as polished as my usual entries for this site but based on the sheer size of the Itasha there was no way to get this thing in a lightbox in either mode. Check out the awesome photos and you'll understand why :) Want TokuNation.com updates on the go? "Like" us on Facebook and follow us @tokunation on Twitter!! |
Woah... I knew that an in-scale Figuarts Prius was going to have some serious mass and volume to it, but seeing it next to Pyramidas and G12 really hammers the point home. If I sell enough to afford this guy, he may have to go on the heavy-duty shelf with Fort Max and Supreme Starscream, rather than with the other Figuarts.

Man that thing's bigger than I thought. I still think you're nuts :lol but you do get alot of toy for what you pay for. Have you found any weaknesses? All those small hinges look like alot of stress.
|
with that scale he must have some really giant rangers piloting him
|
Well the hinges are almost all diescast. So it's all very strong. VERY strong, and very tight. I had some trouble getting some parts to not hit each other during transformation but it is solidly designed. It can stand under it's own weight too, but as Sentai Tamashii pointed out in his gallery and video USE THE STAND. This thing can hold it's self up but I would never rely on that. The figure itself weighs a solid 8 POUNDS.

Poor Ace, he looks so tiny...

Mhmm a comparison to something I don't own... Oh another one.. Nice... I guess it's big? Cool, cool... Big... Yup, another toy I don't own. Another comparison. Uh huh really grasping the size here and...
Oh. Oh wait. Supertrain Megazord? Oh hey that I have. And this single robot is as big as it... What. Once again, given its size and mass and weight, I think I truly understand why it's so expensive. And a fantastic collector's piece. I'm just glad I'm not crazy enough to have gone for it. :P |
Wow, you have a huge collection!! It is just insane to see the Grand Liner to be shorter than Robo Itashar, I used to think he was one of the biggest robot I have, not anymore...
|
Good grief! I would have never imagined the toy to be that big. It never dawned on me that these would be one of the largest Sentai robos purely from the promo photos.
|
I think its ironic and funny that in the show it's much smaller then most sentai robot combonations in the beginning, but in toy form it towers over most of them.lol
