Kamen Rider Kastelle
http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...is-d63emn1.png
http://fav.me/d63emn1 Okay so, before certain plot twists were introduced into the show, I was among the many who thought of making a female mage for Wizard. Her name went from the prototype name of Witch, to Caster, to Kyasta, to finally Kastelle. And no, she's her own character, not an existing one. I don't have a full bio down but to provide what little solidified info I have; She's a tome-type mage, which means instead of having elemental themes, she uses lots of spell rings. In some lore that I've developed in my head, mages in ancient times would often hide their magic transformation devices in the form of a tome, which is why they were called tome-types. Kastelle follows a lot of the traditions of ancient mages, so she proudly carries a tome, which scans rings. Undecided if she has the pink witches hat. Some of her spell rings (which have generic stickfigure icons ala White Mage's Teleport) include Small, Extend, Teleport, Explosion, Dress Up, and her Plamonsters include the standard Garuda and the not-so-standard Pegasus. Due to undecided ideas I don't know what her Phantom is, if any. It's possible her training allows her to harness magic without a Phantom being created from it. |
How does the belt work?
Reminds me of my own Kamen Rider Jayd for some reason.
D'oh knew I forgot something, how the belt works lol.
But yes. Here's a picture of how the belt works, which was drawn when I was still working out her design so ignore the look of the belt here. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/.../witchbelt.png The TomeDriver (working name) is made to look like a book with a hand on it. The reason is, the book cover opens (with a surface underneath not unlike the WizarDriver's semi-transparent black covering) and the familiar spell jingle plays. Unlike the WizarDriver, it has no elemental form change capabilities and is only able to scans rings as spells, which includes her transformation ring (Change, like the white mage.) If she were to use Wizard's elemental rings, they would likely just produce fireballs and other such effects. My intent was to sort of follow the style of Nadeshiko from the Fourze series, which is to have a female equivalent to the hero who has significantly less powers. That and, in my head-canon, Wizard is kind of a unique mage for willingly having so many elemental powers, so I restrict myself from having mages who have just as many form changes. |
Now that is a nice driver. It's like the ride booker, but it's the buckle. Very nice.
Ahh, thanks for clarifying that!
Pretty interesting! |
I'm curious to know what you would have in mind for upgrades... But that might be prying to much.
In her case I dunno, I'm still not entirely sure on her background and what it would imply about her gear, such as if she has a weapon or not. But she doesn't have form changes, that much I know.
Maybe she could get a higher level spell book or something. The one she has on the buckle could be removable and then replace by another one with better spells along with a new set of rings... That's just my idea though.
I like it. The design is good(think the mask could be a bit more personalized though), and the driver is neat. I don't think that's how a hand moves, though. ;)
