Anyone make it to SDCC this year? If you made it by the bluefin booth.. Post some pics!!
I was trying like hell to find someone to pick me up a burning Godzilla but... the damn hasbro booth was all they were going to. Guess I'm gonna have to pay a ebay premium

I would, but I've been looking into alternative means in the way of Shapeways 3d. Wouldn't be too hard to get them made.. but I don't have any models to submit nor the time. Scale would be an issue as well. Speaking of, what scale do you use (regardless of "actual")?
I'm using the S.H. Monsterarts in a 1:500 scale due to several reasons.
1- I've found plenty of ship models in this scale to do dioramas
2- The t-gauge scale train (1:450) is damn close enough
3- Herpa planes and airports are in the 1:500 scale. This one also offers several buildings, people and more so this isn't so hard to come by. Not as much as whats offered in 1:700 but still quite a bit.
And since the figure is about 6" tall that would put him about 1:500 (if you went by the 80 meter height) he would be 77 meters tall in this scale.
This is what I found for a run down on his height changes over the years
Showa series era
1954-1975- 50 meters tall (164')
Heisei series era
1984-1989- 80 meters tall (262')
1991-1995- 100 meters tall (328') The S.H. Monsterarts so far have featured monsters from this era
Millennium series era
2000-2004- 80 meters tall (262')
