Kyoryuzin
Kyoryuzin is overall, just ok. Given that it's the third dino based series, there's a case to be made of it rehasing ideas from past series, such as the drill arm and the zig zag pattern for the chest. Given Go-Busters experimental nature, this does seem like it's trying to a bit more back to basic. A few details that I do like about Kyoryuzin: The yellow lines across Stegochi and Dricera helps to conmect them with Gabutyra yellow torso, making the combination look more solid. In general, Kyoryuzin has really good colour balance which is no small task given you've got red, blue, pink, yellow, silver and black. Also I kinda dig the asymetric shoulders.
Kyoryuzin Western/Macho/Kung Fu
Putting all these together cause they suffer from the same problem, they're just arm swaps. There's nothing else to talk about them other than the fact that they have different arms. Given Kyoryuzin has a removable helmet, I'm gonna echo a complaint I have against other mechas from the past. If you have a removable helmet gimmick, actually use it. If these forms had different helmets, it would make more distinct from each other. I'm actually glad that I'm doing this now that Ryusoulger is revealed since it's main mecha is doing the exact thing I'm asking for here.
Pteraiden-Oh
Simple, sleek, cool. That the 3 words I would describe Pteraiden-Oh. Aside from the "crotch hands", I really like the design. The visor gimmick on both the robot and animal heads is neat, parts of the armour convey a slight samurai vibe such as the shoulders which thematically fits with Kyoryu Gold, and the colour scheme of gold with blue highlights work really well together. It's a solid sixth mecha.
Raiden Kyoryuzin
It's Kyoryuzin with Pteragordon as a backpack. Simple, kinda boring, but hey it works. At least we have a different helmet this time which does help separate it from the Western/Macho/Kung Fu formations. It's alright.
Plezu-Oh
(Sorry for the crappy Plezuon image. It was the best I could find)
It's a purple space plesiosaurus that transforms into a robot, what's not to love about it. Plezu-Oh is just solid on all levels, solid design and proportions that invoke the space theme, solid combination of colours between the purple, gold and white. The red on the head maybe sticks out a little too much and perhaps there could be more interesting chest design rather it just being the Kyoryuger logo but those are just nitpicks for what's an otherwise solid mecha.
Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin
Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin is crazy and I love it. Usually when the mechas for the new series slowly get revealed, I can sort see how future combinations will come together and said combinations usually end up being the first mecha with more bits. Here though, the way Plezuon and Gabutyra combine together is something I did not see coming, where Gabutya returns to his t-rex form and then Plezuon just sort of plops on top of him. The resulting combination looks nothing like how Kyoryuzin originally looked aside from the legs and the design is just so insane that I can't help but love it. About my only major complaint are the platform shoes. It's a problem I have with mechas in the past and future but Kyoryuzin arguably has it the worst cause of how big its original feet are.
Gigant Bragi-Oh
The last individual mecha in all the recent Sentai series have followed the trend of being the biggest and bulkiest. Gigant Bragi-Oh follows that trend rather nicely. The proportions emphasizes its power, not to mention that gigantic axe. The gold armor plates around the body as well as the overall design has a sort of roman theme which adds to its power and gives a sense of regality. The gold plates being themed after the other Zyudenchi is also a really nice touch.
Gigant Kyoryuzin
After the insanity that was Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin, Gigant Kyoryuzin feels like a step back and is rather underwhelming as our final combination. One of the reason I love Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin is that it looked like a completely different beast from either Kyoryuzin or Plezu-On. This on the other hand is just Kyoryuzin with more added bits and what's added isn't all that impressive. The platforms shoes once again look bad because of Kyoryuzin huge feet. The new chest piece and helmet don't do anything for me and they create this huge chuck of yellow in the middle which sorta throws the colour balance off. The addition of Parasagun and Zakutor are nice but their method of combination feels very out of the way, like they don't contribute much to the overall combination. Zakutor just becomes part of the staff and while Parasagun does become a shoulder cannon, it's so far off to the side that it isn't as prominent as it should be. Also a good chuck of Bragi-Oh is just sitting on the back and their only purpose is for the "cannon" formation. I feel a lot of the issues I have could be solved if they just ditched the "cannon" formation and have more parts of Bragi-Oh actually combined with Kyoryuzin.
SpinoDai-Oh
SpinoDai-Oh nicely changes up Kyoryuzin design, allowing it to feel different despite very clearly being similar to Kyoryuzin. It's also cool that this mecha appeared in the series.
Not including Tategami Raiden Kyoryuzin cause it's just Raiden Kyoryuzin with the Tategami Li-Oh head.
