I think once you become old enough to understand and use a message board correctly, shows and things you're a fan of lose their charm. Not because I'm cynical, but because you can see that others are also seeing what you are, and that's looking at Power Rangers from an older, mature perspective.
But, I could be wrong.
Sadly, there is a degree of truth here! If one looks at MMPR, which many of us have done over the span of our lifetime, then you really see some goofiness and changes to Zyuranger! On a level, you still want to respect your childhood and look back fondly, but it's not hard to see and hear things that just make you cringe now! They also took Zyu and changed any resemblance of story into something that is just meant to be entertaining to kids, aggravate the hell out of parents, and pad Saban's net worth! Season 1 really fell short in terms of storyline save for Green Ranger plots! Season 2 started to show where they had come into their own and got more involved! Season 3 is Saban and Co. playing with a defibrillator, cause Mighty Morphin' had started to run its course! Some of the succeeding seasons, In Space or Lost Galaxy or Time Force actually had certain details that could be considered "mature" or "adult" and it is easy to see in hindsight some of those details we missed earlier! What do they always say: "hindsight is 20-20"!!!
