Finished season 2. It continues to be a really fun watch. Lord Zedd 100% lives up to memory, though he definitely gets a bit less intimidating after the wedding to Rita. Tommy's pretty cool S the white Ranger, though I still prefer green. The three new Rangers, Rocky, Aisha and Adam are mostly cool. Not really a fan of Rocky, his actor doesn't seem to have much in the way of charm, but Adam and Aisha are pretty great. The Thunder Megazord isn't as cool as the original one; I don't remember it as well as I remember the original or the one from the movie with the Falconzord. Similarly, the Tigerrzord isn't as cool as the Dragonzord, but that's pretty hard to beat. Serpenterra was badass, but a bit too OP, meaning it never actually got to do anything unfortunately. Think that's all the new stuff of season 2.
The show was still pretty solid in season 2. Introduced the idea of story arcs outside of multi-parters, with the Tommy loosing his powers storyline and the peace conference storyline. Speaking off that, the show dealing with Jason, Zack and Trini's actors leaving was a bit awkward. The reused footage worked pretty well, but the fill in actors for some of the lines varied dramatically in how well they actually sounded like them, going as far as Trini randomly having a British accent for a sentence. Other then that though, good season. Had a few episodes worse than average, but so did the first. Overall, I'm still enjoying it. Very excited to watch the movie for the first time in a very long time soon. Loved Ivan Ooze as a little kid!
