It’s a V-CiNext, just like the Zero-One Others specials. That means it gets one-off a theatre showing shortly before it releases on DVD, and the cast of the series are there to talk to fans and have a Q+A and the like. So…it both is and isnt? It will be shown in theatres, but it was still made as a normal V-Cinema. Run-time is 55 minutes, too, according to the website.

Considering Makoto’s seven sins that he lists before becoming Sin Spectre for the first time have nothing to do with the Seven Deadly Sins (despite the Eyecon dropping their names…), I wouldn’t expect 1:1 parallels outside of toy sounds.
That said, I’m very curious as to the fact that this isn’t Kento’s V-Cinema, but one that focuses on Touma and Rintaro just as much. They’ve never done a post-series V-Cinema that has the main rider as a main focus (despite implying that they were considering a Gaim Gaiden: Gaim special), so I’ll be really interested to see what they’re up to with it.
