I think now would be a good time for one more Gear statistics update before the finale.
The single most popular Gear is Dairanger, having been used twice in the Geartlinger and once in the Geardalinger. I'm not really a Dairanger fan, but I'll give my sincere congratulations to those who are!
Tied for second place are Sun Vulcan, Jetman, Hurricanger, Goseiger, Zyuohger, Kyuranger and Kiramager.
JAKQ, Gingaman, Abaranger, Gekiranger and Go-Onger have yet to be used in the Geartlinger.

I'm not quite as fluent as Fish here, but when watching RAW, I actively listen to what the characters are saying and translate what I can in real time. It's more educational that way.

I don't like that the two little talking mascots characters are actually two regular people who have a terrible place cursed on them, and their family's only goal is to restore them to normal.
Their SD forms do have the cuteness factor, I suppose. But I can't begrudge them for wanting to return to how they were before if that opportunity is available to them. It's a personal choice.

(Or perhaps, it'll be a classic Ben Grimm thing where they give up the chance to become human at the last second to help out their friends! :O)
I predict that Flint will use her genius engineering skills to give her little brothers the power to switch between human and SD forms at will, in the same way that Zox can become SD for Zenkaiju Oh.

A lot of the personality of the Kikanoids that comes through in individual episodes is just them showcasing their personalities in mech fights or their numerous improvised lines in scenes. Ricky and Cutanner certainly have those too in spots, but always to a waaaay limited degree in comparison. Really could have helped if they got to banter while in Ohren or Shinken form, or if during mech fights they actually conversed with Zox and commented on what was going on like everyone else does.
I generally like Ricky and Cuttanar on a surface level, but sadly, I think Komura fell in to the same trap that most writers do when depicting twins in fiction, by treating them more like a single character with two personalities. It would've been nice if maybe they had a focus episode each, possibly shared with some of the Kikainoids, to highlight their differences.

The moment of his family coming through for him might be a standard sort of resolution, but it's a really good and heartwarming one.
I wonder how the random Kudaiter who received the SDtopia Toziru Gear to become SD Wald feels about suddenly being the object of Zox's one-sided vendetta?
