Fun episode. I'm a little disappointed that Kiriko's reaction to Vegas wasn't guilt over her gambling addiction, like I initially assumed, but getting confirmation of Proto-Drive was a decent trade-off. I assume his human identity was whoever Machine Chaser is modeled after because that is dead fucking obvious.
I really liked the fight at the fountain between Drive and obviously evil assistant. I don't remember ever seeing that location in a Rider show before and it's always cool to see someplace new. Less a fan of Vegas's finishing move, though, and the obvious body horror that ensues from forcing three tires onto Shinnosuke's chest. I get that's how the action figure works, but it looks almost as disturbing as W's bisected Rider Kick.

Yeah, it is definitely looking like we're back in two-episode-arc territory. It might just be something the show is doing to start off, what with having to introduce the whole world and all of the characters, but we'll have to wait and see if we start getting standalone episodes or not. I'm not going to be super thrilled if this is the format for the whole series.
