I definitely get what they might've been trying to go for, but I just don't feel it was executed very well.
Not gonna get into it quite yet, but let's just say I too have personal experience with someone of whom this show is trying to represent.

I'd totally be down for that if it weren't for the Gridman Alliance's' constant insistence on trying to save her and feeling sorry for her. Add to that that the anime itself frames her situation as tragic(which, granted, it

is) and it's something I really can't get behind.
