Moderately should. At least the really well done ones.
WST were about smaller than most coins, and had near full original toy accuracy by how they used simple engineering. Though TBH, in some cases the size hindered things like how bad Ravage was, and how much of a pain it was to get it to fit in Soundwave. And the little pieces for starscream were easy to lose like his gloves. They were a marvelous little thing, but they really were also quite the pain.
I had a set of the first wave of them. And while I love the concept, I do hope they manage to engineer some kind of sturdier alternative. But as "pocket mecha" go for sentai, it would be a neat idea. They're much more like "Micromachines" though. Which Hasbro does own, so we could get Micromachine sentai vehicles.
But if you're looking for something that can fight the monsters you could buy from BOA, or whatever monster figures Hasbro makes. The mini-pla is probably better.
Do have to admit for random scaling fun though, a micromachines type version could be interesting. "micro action scenes" and Micro battle sets can be a fun thing for travel especially for kids. Like what Polly Pocket and Mighty Max were. So it'd have to find a way to walk a nice line.
If they did 1:18th scale monsters and rangers though. A similarly sized megazord that can combine as a "travel set" could be fun too. Lots of possibilities really. If they did the WST method the combined robo would be about less than or roughly 2 inches tall. Bigger about maybe the size of two titan masters standing on top of each other.
