I wanted to make a thread dedicated to the new Legend Henshin belts. I've also seen them referred to as Legend Makeover Belts.
These are not quite DX re-releases, but rather self contained belts at a more affordable price with basic functionality. As of this post there are:
It's interesting to note that according to the Bandai toy blogs, if they were to release the original Fourze driver today, it would be twice as much as it was when it first came out. And also, the Zi-O Zikan Driver re-release didn't do as well as they expected. Given this information, I think this line of belts is a great idea. Certainly for the early Heisei era, a lot of those belts were kinda wonky and didn't match the show enough. I don't think Bandai really figured out DX belts until Kabuto. I also think this means DX belt re-releases are going to be very rare.

I wish the new Faiz phone worked with the older DX toys. I have a Faiz Blaster but no phone to put in it. I have the CSM Faiz gear, but obviously that doesn't fit either.

Woah. Unlike the original DX, the Faiz Driver has the FULL Crimson Smash sounds. Very impressive. The Forze Driver even has de-henshin sounds.

I wish they did a side by side with the DX counterparts. These things are very small.
I originally thought they were for adults because that's all Legend Rider stuff really sells to, but the belt straps are still very short and they are built in a way to suggest durability for younger kids.

Sadly, the new Faiz belt are didn't come with Faiz Shot and Faiz Pointer. I personally think it would be more interesting if Faiz Shot and Faiz pointer are released again.

But maybe they fit in the dx faiz blaster at least? Hopefully someone will compare this with the dx faiz belt release and we'll see if its the same scale, that would be just great. |
