Everyone wonder how a fusion theme would work for a Rider anniversary series in Reiwa?
How do you all picture the fusions in KR in some way like Ultraman's Orb, Geed & Z works?
You all decide how you all see it. Because I for one go for....
As for the villain side, they oughta fuse kaijins from various groups like combining a Shocker kaijin with a Gurongi of Ichigo & Kuuga. As well as a Gel Shocker kaijin with a Magia. Last edited by henshinzero; 08-02-2022 at 05:33 PM.. |

I refuse fusion theme forms on principle. If it's executed well I might chabge my mind but I don't really have a good opinion on these things.

The mere idea of Fusion theme Riders, like most Ultraman who use this, sucks to high hell.
I’m REALLY not a fan of this lazy lame cash-grab garbage |

I'm not really against Fusion Forms, in fact I really enjoy seeing what Ultraman combo's they can come up with when that happens. Especially the fun arcade exclusive ones.
But... just speaking from a design standpoint, there's a reason it works out well for Ultraman. And I'm not sure if I've ever brought this up anywhere on the forums, feel like I have. But with Ultraman while they don't all look the same they all share the same design blueprint. At the base of it all they're similar/the same while having outwards features that make them distinct. Kamen Rider... well, that's a lot tougher because even compared to Sentai, Kamen Rider has a wider range of motif's and designs. To the point where if you fused like Zero-One and Kuuga together, it'd come out very messy since those designs just do not mesh together in the slightest. You'd have to make one the dominant design and that just wouldn't really work for a fusion kind of hero. |

It was only really Orb that went for a direct fusion style like that, though -- with others like Geed, the fusions forms were more about the idea of the Ultras involved with only a couple specific parts or weapons taken directly from the Ultras, and I think that's something Rider would run with a lot too. Stronger and Blade granting a form with electricity powers and a large head horn; Saber and Gaim being an armoured swordsman, that kind of thing.

I feel like Z also leaned towards more the direct fusion tbh since while not complete fully meshes since, hoo boy, three Ultra's, it still borrowed a lot from their designs compared to Geed.
Actually come to think of it... only Orb, Geed, and Z have done Fusion forms as like the main gimmick. Not that many Ultra's when you think about it... Though I suppose you are right in that the Geed style of fusion might work best in that regard. |

What would be a good item for a fusion rider series? Capsules?
And we should be after fusing a Reiwa rider with a Heisei rider. Showa riders are special. |

I think that the item should depend on how many riders will be used in a fusion, at least under baseline conditions. There'd be an item for each rider in the fusion, but they'd snap together before being used in the transformation device.

Considering that Reiva made the similarity of the base and final forms her feature, the fusion and plot, like Ultraman Orb, would be quite suitable for the anniversary season.
