I really love this episode, and it is probably one of my favorites in this series. It could be because of the bantering between Yoko and Usada, and also because Usada is probably the funniest character, human or Buddyloid, in Go-busters so an episode of him insulting or snipping at anything is a hoot. I'm glad to see Miho actually doing a mission on the field, and I found her wearing the Yellow Buster outfit to be rather sexy. The best part is the mech battle, which is as stellar as ever but without GoBusterOh, so we're treating to a battle scene involving the three mechs in their animal mode. I hope we'll get to see this more often.

When the episode started with the petty thieves kidnapping Usada, I thought to myself "aw, this looks like it might be one of those bad comedic episodes" but thankfully I was wrong. There was some really good development between Usada and Yoko, and the plan they came up with was pretty damn clever. Enter's "NOOOOOO" was priceless
The mecha battle was all the better since they didn't use GoBusterOh too. The "pose for the explosion" was great.

I like that they are not locked in with the whole "We must form Go-BusterOh every time" mentality, and Enter is a sore loser, but glad he's finally knocked down a peg, that smarmy French bastard You may call Yoko dumb, but she managed to get everyone else do her homework I wish the 2 operator would be trained and join the field work duty, especially Miho

I'll be honest. Enter was damn spooky when he snapped for a minute there.
He comes across as the type of villain who, when you actually manage to piss him off for real, is NOT a guy you want to be in the same room as. To make an odd comparison, it's like Ratigan in the Disney film "The Great Mouse Detective" - he puts on the whole intelligent criminal mastermind airs/facade, and then when he snaps during the third act as his plans unravel, he just becomes a goddamn frighting force of nature. |

It feels as though they were trying to mimic the Dark Knight, what with that shaky cam during the ransom scene and all.
I loved this episode though, love that they aren't jumping straight away into Gobuster Ace. And yes, Enter was damned scary when he just lost it there, wonder what his true form looks like? |

I've gotta say that this episode was terrible and the worst thus far. If you want to talk about a major filler episode, this is it. NOTHING happened that was even remotely interesting or important. Maybe the writing staff had the week off and the back ups were on this episode. It was boring, the plot was stupid and predictable, and it was just pointless. There was no point in having some random dudes kidnap Usada. It should have just been Enter from the get go and did something interesting with it.
The only two things I did like was seeing Enter go crazy (although, I was hoping for him to transform or something) and I did like how they did not combine. BTW, what was teh point of the rangers putting sunglasses on before going into the chute and then taking them off when they came out? The sunglasses bit is getting annoying and boring. |

This episode had a lot of important plot actually. This episode builds directly from the revelations of the last. In the previous episode (which Enter alludes to at the beginning) he was able to get his hands on the plans for Beet Busters' mech the BC-04. His attempt to steal Usada and use him to exchange for Enetron is directly linked to this. He requires the Enetron in order to construct the Beet Machine. Also, and this is something that easily could have happened off screen, I believe Enter's ulterior motive for kidnapping Usada was to study him and create a new Buddyroid. I believe somewhere down the road we'll get to see this play out. As others have suspected up to this point, I strongly believe that when Beet and Stag debut they will be evil and fully under Enter and Messiahs' control. So really this is a key episode. Enter stepped up his game to try and get the Enetron necessary to build the Beet and even though he failed in that I would have to imagine he got useful information from Usada in order to eventually contuct Beet J Stag (Stag Buster/Beet's Buddyroid). That line at the end when he tells them that the Busters have taught him a valuable lesson would lend itself pretty well to this theory as well.
