Update - delayed until 2019.
The 25th Anniversary is off to a booming start.

I think it could be that they just aren't going to use the Ninja Steel suits and might be making original suits for Power Rangers Live. The reason I could see them doing that is based on the idea that more people will go and see a team that's not on TV more then then the team that's on TV.

What I meant is what if this is because of how well Hyper Force is doing, that they want to make another original Ranger team just for Power Rangers. And the reason it's going to take until 2019 is because they are going to try and have them be record to put the stage shows on DVD. It would be pretty interesting if the shows in the different cities were different stories and when they release the DVD pack of all of the shows it will be a full season.

I bet we wouldn't hear anything about Power Rangers Live until Power Morphicon.

I assume they're ditching the idea of "Ninja Steel on stage" to "Power Rangers on stage", and using more iconic Rangers (ie MMPR)

I disagree. There's not enough interest in Power Rangers from a general population to create a brand new team no one has seen before, then ask people to drop $50-$150 to sit their butts down to watch them on stage.

Hyperforce is doing well, but it's doing well as an incredibly niche part of a much bigger brand. It wouldn't have much pull for this at all.
