Alright, so I picked it back up again, because, of because.

And yeah, it has picked up quite a bit, but as for mild reviews... Yeah that isn't happening either. Haha.

But, it did pick up when Shrio starts becoming a influence to the show.

Also, I love Ouja...

He is so... Evil. Just to be evil. And, he is strangely sympathetic, due to his feral-ness. Its awesome.

That being said... I can't wait until he dies. I'm sure Ryuki is going to gain a survive card and go crazy on him... or somethig.

But yeah... the show is now at a 7/10 for me, as it -is- coming back up, and is showing that Quirky-Kamen Rider side, that I enjoy in the later Hesei era shows. IE: Shinji's boss.

Also, I love Mr.LawyerPants and Shinji's little adventure. That was hilarious.

It's pretty early on in this show to say I hate it, as most riders take up to episode ten for me to get fed up with it, and then it get amazing... but... so far the Directing/Acting style of Ryuki just do not do it for me, as I am four-ish episodes in and all I know is " Derp i'm a poor reporter, and I turn into a Kamen rider to stop monsters that give me power" I mean obviously there is a little bit more to that, but the supporting cast just isn't given as much love as they should, considering that they are focusing so much on Kido being an idiot that I really can't get into it.

Though, it is funny, because it seems in comparison. OOO is really based off of this, as Eiji has a similar personality to Kido, just... different motives. Though, the lack of backstory on... anyone is really just killing it for me thus far. There are a couple other similarties (The teashop, the ringing from a monster) but it's just kinda funny in retrospect.

Honestly, I think the best (slash worst) is the fact that you can tell there is alot of commercial endorsement of that 02/04 era products like EMac, and Smartcar, which seeing -that- as the big commercial endorsement today is pretty hilarious.

Hopefully the show gets better... they showed some human emotion at the end of four...so there is that.

Yeah, that was a unique aspect to the show. If this was any other series, barely any or none of these guys would be Riders. And yet in this series, they are. It makes you feel bad for Shinji because he's gotta fight off these guys who are only looking out for themselves.

Yeah, I love not only how that works but how it ties into the Survive cards. Tezuka and Shinji get them because Shiro misreads their reluctance to fight as a fear of their own weakness. He incorrectly assumes that giving them the power up will spur them into killing the other Riders. It's an interesting glimpse into Shiro's psyche that he can't fathom the concept that these guys just don't want to sacrifice others' lives for power. I think it does a great job of demonstrating one of his major character flaws.

It's funny, after watching it the first time I didn't care much for Ryuki. But after rewatching it and thinking about it I've realized what a really good, deep show it is. Still not my favorite, but I do kinda love it.

I was the same in that respect. Directly after watching the show, I wasn't too big on it. But over time I've reflected on it and I really enjoy Ryuki now.
