I think the main thing Fourze has going for him is recognizability. His show is the one that's on now while Super-1 is a) from the Showa era, which less people watch shows out of, 2) from the really obscure middle Showa era, and iii) one of the shows that's barely been subbed and therefore most people here have never seen much of.

Well duh. He's not Ichigou, V3, or Stronger (Who I think are the faces of the original Showa series), nor is he Amazon (Who has an extremely unique design). He's kinda stuck in that limbo with X and Skyrider. It'd be nice to have his series subbed, but people aren't exactly clamoring for it.

But the moment I read "Shaolin training", I knew Super-1 could mop the floor with Fourze. Just look at the fight between him and Meteor. It could be argued that Fourze wasn't fighting back as well as he could because he didn't want to fight Meteor, but then consider that Super-1 is probably a more skilled fighter than Meteor. Even at Fourze's best, I'm pretty sure Super-1 would destroy Fourze.

Fourze is strong and he can switch spam the shit out of Super-1, but I'd still give Super-1 the advantage here. He's definitely far more skilled than Fourze is.

Nope, Super-1 was designed to be the ultimate space explorer. Fighting evil was just something he kind of fell into due to a bad situation.

Super-1 had to undergo painful surgery and be able to fight off 100 Shaolin masters in order to use his powers.

Fourze however got his as a gift from his childhood friend.

But it's a going to be a close match no matter what, but I still stand by Super-1.
