First 009 being a exclusive and now Kikaider. He's a classic character, I would imagine a retail release would sell very well. I think a retail release could work in the US since he was big in Hawaii and casual people might remember him from the animated series on Cartoon Network.

We're quickly reaching a time where only the first release of a main Rider will be a public release and everything else will be Web Exclusives. Just like this.

Wait 009 was an exclusive? No wonder I haven't seen it around.
Man I'm really starting to hate the whole exclusive thing. It's not like it's tough anymore but it really feels money grabby, I think he'd do fine in normal retail.

I've honestly never seen Kikaider, but I went ahead and ordered one anyway. Because, why not?

Kikaider, while it certainly has it's fans, isn't going to sell at the same level that a mainline rider SHF's would or even the original Ultraman Ultra-Act. This figure has a far more limited scope, only having fans from 3 decades ago to go on since the characters new film hasn't even been released yet. It just makes sense.
