Count your sins...twice now as Medicom releases Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Joker once again. This time as an RAH. It comes out Feb 2015 for ¥21,000 and is a Medicom Premium Club exclusive. Though if you got a middleman like Buyee you should be able to preorder it. Preorders go from 2014/5/24 to 2014/7/5 I've been wanting a good Kamen Rider W to go with my Skull so I'm probably going to preorder it. I love that it also comes with an extra long scarf like the OP. That's awesome, but how many people actually collect these? They're hella expensive.

I want it but then I saw the price tag. This'd be one of those things you buy, very carefully pose, and then seal inside a glass case forever.

I don't own any RAH figures, but I'd love to get this one since he's my favorite Rider. That price is a major turn-off though, so I probably won't get it.

It doesn't come out till next year. Even if you pre order now you'll have a loooooooooooooooooooong time to save for it.

I know W was popular but I didn't know it was that popular.

Yeah, the fact that it comes out so long from now definitely makes it more tempting since that's more than enough time to save for it. Even so, I just don't think I want to drop that kind of money on a single figure.

Not to mention Medicom is celebrating it's 18th anniversary and has made a whole ton of Kamen Rider figures over the years so obviously the markets big enough that they keep making a profit out of it. Sure they are expensive(retail at least) but they are way more bang for your buck IMHO than any other toy line so I'll happily give up collecting the Kamen Rider gimmicks or sentai mechs so I'll have the money to spend on figures that actually really make me happy. As for them being 'fragile', they really aren't any more fragile than Figuarts. Unlike Figuarts where a broken figure means you'll just have to buy another one Medicom has a great overseas email adress that if you send them a picture of your broken figure they will do their best to help. For example if an arm broke they would send you a new one where you only have to pay for shipping.

I do Though most of mine are bought cheap off of Yahoo Auctions or Mandrake.
