I didn't hear anything about translation and QC yet, they just said that all of the episodes were timed, that's all.
And how can you exactly time all the episodes without having any kind of script to begin with... just look at the picture he posted. (The job of the timer is to time the script to the video, so that the correct subtitle appears when the corresponding speech is spoken) Edit: And GUIS even said over at facebook that the last QC and the final encode are ready for some of the episodes, but they will not start releasing them until something else is out (Bioman and liveman V2) Last edited by jfblade; 07-23-2014 at 04:25 PM.. |

He also said that is a "total re-translation".

We pre-time all our scripts. Shir never sends us a notepad document with the lines.

It shouldn't matter how fast they come though. Things get done when they get done and that should be good enough for everyone.

First about Jetman: Actually we started Jetman many years ago. Gave up because we were lacking staff. Then when My QCer/Encoder and myself had time we did the whole series at once. Meaning 1 episode released a day, with the exception of the special. It took me about 2 weeks to translate the whole show if you're wondering about the pace. Lately I find myself having a lot of free time, so I've got time to translate again. As for Changeman: 23 episodes are ready for final QC and encoding. The translation of the show should be finished by mid-September if nothing comes up. We will release a liveman batch in the coming days, followed by Bioman (only 2 episodes still need to be translated). They will be released when our encoder and QCer have time. After that you can expect a lot of changeman. As for Spielvan: it's on the back burner. Although I have some scripts ready and I would like to do it eventually, my love goes to 80's Sentai. Unfortunately there aren't many shows left to do. There is also one (non-video) sentai project I am working on which will be revealed in time which you should not expect for another year or so. |
