The ending to episode 46 is one of the most awesome moments in Sentai history.

An ending that takes a few viewings to fully enjoy, but as a whole, the series is by far the best Sentai series ever.

I liked the idea of the ending, but the execution of it brought it to slapstick levels so it didn't really do much for me. The last five eps were extremely strong, but I still personally feel Dairanger is one of the more overrated Super Sentai series.

Nah, it is the greatest series, not overrated at all. Shinkenger is overrated.

I have to agree about the ending. The costumes, make-up, and acting were all really dodgy. Still, I'd say Dairanger was a great show and the whole ending arc - from subplot wrap-ups through the finale - were excellent.
