O-T has a sub of this short minisode up on their site, so it feels like we should have a discussion thread for it.For anyone who doesn't know, it's a small DVD release, similar to Episode 0, featuring two of the Shift Cars.

Is it something that needs to be watched in order to understand the show?

You know, I really think it's amazing how all these little side stories are tied to the plot in someway or another. I was almost shocked that this actually refers mostly to the plot of Episode 0. It sure was fun to watch

It liked it as a fun little episode and I am glad that they are tying together plots from other specials as well with this one connecting to the zero episode and then the movie as well.

This was a very fun little episode and although it was mostly pointless I like that the shift cars have personality of their own. The finisher, while inexplicable by series logic, was actually very cool and I'd like to see more dual car finishers.
I do notice that the promo text at the end mentioned a third secret mission. Does anyone know what that's about? |
