Yeah, I didn't much care for those suits. But I liked how he tried fighting fire with fire.

Thunderstrike's Legendary Ranger Marathon: Day 13: Part 2:
Power Rangers Dino Charge, Season 22: Episode 1 Wow. That was one awesome episode. The acting has really improved, and we finally have another original villain. The only real problem I had with this episode is the not-so-great CGI. I also LOVED the fact that there was zero Sentai footage aside from what was in the opening theme. I am charged up for this season. Just watch. There is going to be someone who hates the fact that zero Sentai footage was used in this episode. Thunderstrike's Legendary Ranger Marathon: Day 14
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Season 2: Episodes 14 - 18 Well.... I guess Tommy Oliver is hear to stay. Why... WHY couldn't they have just left JDF as Cybertron and had Brad Hawkings be the White Ranger as originally planned.... Welp.... As the White Ranger, Tommy is definitely more useful to the team, as his powers aren't being taken away every five seconds. There is one line that bugs me, though: Quote:

Started my rewatch of RPM and after the first four episodes I gotta say...still as awesome as I remembered it.
The Road to Corinth is just such a great pilot that sets up the conflict and builds a really interesting world to explore. Fade to Black and Rain were great focus episodes for Dillon that gave a great inside in how difficult the process of becoming a ranger is and build up the friendship between him and Ziggy extremely well. Go for the Green was also really great as expected. I like that Ziggy is not just the funny guy but has some real depth to him. Being a person who never really belonged anywhere and always tried to weasel his way through life and making the wrong enemies along the way. Cant wait to continue with the show. |

Thunderstrike's Legendary Ranger Marathon: Day 15
Power Rangers Dino Charge, Season 22: Episode 2 This season just keeps getting better. I love how Keeper has done more mentoring in two episodes than Gosei did in two seasons. I also like how we get to see not one but two potential future Rangers in Matt and Kendall. I find Tyler's nickname for the T-Rex zord ("Rexy") kind of cute. Basically to sum this up, I will leave this here: Last edited by thunderstrike541; 02-15-2015 at 09:15 PM.. |

Thunderstrike's Legendary Ranger Marathon: Day 16: Part 1:
Power Rangers Dino Charge, Season 22: Episodes 3 - 4 After finally assembling the core team, we now start to see more of the Ranger's arsenal. We get Dino Steel mode (which is basically the signature weapons of the Dino Charge Rangers), the Dino Charge Megazord Tri-Stego formation, the Dino Cycles, and the Dino Charge Megazord Stego-Raptor formation. Sledge also returns, along with his minions Poisandra, Wrench, and a new villain named Curio. We also have more character development for the Rangers in four episodes than we did in the entirety of Megaforce/ Super Megaforce. *shots fired* To be continued.... |

Thunderstrike's Legendary Ranger Marathon: Day 16: Part 2:
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Season 2: Episodes 21 - 32 It is at this point that Austin St. John, Walter Jones, and Thuy Thrang are out of the show. From now on (until Power Rangers Zeo and Forever Red) when ever you see the characters of Jason, Zack, and Trini again, it will be either stock footage, stock footage with bad voice-overs, or entirely different people. It isn't until the two parter "The Power Transfer" that the three Rangers are officially written out of the show, replaced with Rocky, Adam, and Aisha. The episodes between "The Ninja Encounter" and "The Power Transfer", the three new Rangers help Tommy, Billy, and Kimberly battle the Putties, while Jason, Zach, and Trini are.... scuba diving. The three original rangers are then sent off to Switzerland, never to be heard of again (at least not until Power Rangers Zeo). We also get two new zords: Tor the Shuttle Zord, which is used by the Rangers, and the terrifying Serpentera, which is used by Lord Fred. I mean Zedd. Seriously, that thing is CREEPY!! We also are introduced to the Power Cannon, which was the team weapon for the Dairangers. This basically replaces the Power Blaster, although at this point, I am unsure if it (the Power Blaster) appears again later. |

Thunderstrike's Legendary Ranger Marathon: Day 17:
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Season 2: Episodes 33 - 52 Today, we wrap up the second season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. We see the wedding of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa, the return of the Green Ranger, the last episode with Tor, and what is quite possibly the scariest monster the show has given us so far. Jeez, that thing is creepy What evil awaits our heroes? Find out in the non-canon movie tomorrow. Last edited by thunderstrike541; 03-02-2015 at 06:28 PM.. |

Thunderstrike's Legendary Ranger Marathon: Day 18:
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie Yes, this film is no cinematic masterpiece. But, it is still enjoyable, to say the least. Also, it should be noted (even though most of you already know this) that while this movie is separate from the actual continuity (much like the upcoming Lionsgate film), it can easily be assumed that what happened in the show up until this film happened in the film's universe. The Ranger's suits in this movie are fantastic. That said, I can't help but be reminded of the Samurai Rangers' Mega Modes. Let's just compare the two for a moment. There a few things that I don't like about the movie (like the obvious male lips on the Yellow Ranger helmet), but there is one thing that I (along with the rest of the fandom) hate: THIS! What the heck is THIS supposed to be?! Because it sure as heck isn't the Ninja Megazord. Some characters that aren't even mentioned in the movie are Ms. Appleby, Mr. Kaplan, the Putties, Finster, Scorpina (even though she only showed up once after Season 1), Squaat, and Baboo (among others). Ernie is only merely referenced, and the Power Weapons are completely absent, replaced with miniature weapons like the Stega Stinger and Pterodactyl Thunder Whip. On Thursday, we will be returning to continuity with MMPR Season 3, since for the next two days, I will be catching up on Ninninja and Kamen Rider Drive, along with starting Ressha Sentai ToQGer. |
