So, i've been wanting to watch Ohranger for a while now, and now that MFC is subbing it, i'm going to watch it. However, what should I expect? I heard that it's a bit uneven, but between the nostalgia factor (I loved Zeo as a kid), the awesome mech designs, and the interesting premise, it really sounds like i'd like it. There's a few other more negligible things that it has working in its favor as well (the short intro before the theme song and the fact that the "cannon" is a combination of all of their weapons are both pluses for me, for some reason)
What do you think?

It is not a terrible show, but it has a lot of issues, some of it from a writing stand point, some of it due to events that happened. MFC only has the first 26 episodes out so far, and with them doing about 1 episode a week, I'd say start doing maybe 5 episodes a week and you will be fine. This is one show that I have found boring as hell if you try to marathon it in 3 days, but taken at a slower pace, it isn't bad. At least if you are looking to just enjoy some cool fights and designs. The character development is pretty craptastic.

It's a shame we don't have a lot episodes of them in the web.

Dooooooooo iiiiittttttttt.
It is fun to note the differences from Zeo and despite its flaws due to unfortunate events that forced it to shift tones at the time it aired, still fun to watch.

Half is a pretty decent amount considering it wasn't long ago only the first 5 were subbed.

Well, to be fair, I can't really watch more than 4 episodes of Sentai in one sitting, due to the highly repetitive nature of the show. However, based on the designs of the enemies/mecha and the motifs, it seems like the show would have a more fantasy/adventure theme, which is one of the things that made me really love Zyuranger.

And no, sadly, Oh does not have a fantasy theme beyond the first episodes where they get their mecha. |
