So ok. From bits here and there I've gotten the impression that apparently a few people aren't fond of the term "neo-Heisei" to refer to the post-Decade series (just like...bits in tumblr, really). So like...does anyone know if there's any real reason for that? It seems like kind of a random thing to dislike. Unless it's just a simple matter of preference or something.

I think "Neo Heisei" is a term used for W-current because the rider series took a different direction after Decade. Not to mention that Toei has W-Ghost exist in the same universe while the pre-W Heisei shows to seem to take place in stand alone universes expect for Kuuga and Agito.

I think Toei has officially used the phrase "Heisei Phase 2" before, so that's what I prefer instead of "Neo."

People don't like "Neo Heisei" because its a completely fan made term that doesn't really make all that much sense. Showa and Heisei are actual periods, calling something Neo Heisei is just pointlessly splitting it down even further.
But yes, its a matter of preference I guess.

I don't mind the term "Neo Heisei" for the series since it's a fan term. The series did went into a different direction. There is some level of continuity with each show since W while Kuuga-Decade never really had any continuity links with each other expect for the Kuuga references in Agito early.

Though the most W-Fourze had was a little sneak peak. Never reall mentioned in the shows, so I personally think that each show is standalone. Especially Gaim, though Drive and Ghost have a little continuity, if only for promoting the new movies.

W had the OOO medals in Episode 47 and OOO did had Kengo and Yuki at the final episode. Wizard shows up at the final episode of Fourze too. Not to mention some of the winter crossover movies fit. I say W-Ghost exist in the same universe unless proven otherwise.
