Nagi decides to lose himself to a game when he cannot find a clear path to the role of Last Ninja. What will be his path to victory?
As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts.
Live Streams of the Superhero Time block start at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. |

As a JRPG fan, I loved that episode. I wish it was longer!
I'm kind of surprised with how much focus Nagi has been getting lately. I mean, i'm not complaining, it's nice to see him get development since he seemed to lack it in the beginning. He and Kinji have become my favorite characters. This is also the first time I've been completely caught up with the series, kind of a weird feeling. Can't wait for next week's episode.

Back to this episode, I thought they were also done with Kinji, I hope it was just a bait and they won't serve the same trick again. We're 13~14 episodes left, the big bad is still a shadowy figure in the opening. I think it's time for the story to launch the last arc now.

I get the feeling that he either 1. doesn't want to become last ninja 2. feels left out since he isn't part of the family or 3. feels he can't become last ninja because he's not part of the family

the show hinted that star ninja was going to go evil/join the dark side at some point/turn into a half beast etc but then shocks me by doing something unpredictable leading to everything is back to normal i wold be disappointed if one of those points turned out to be true |

This was probably my favorite episode of Ninninger so far. I liked the video game theme and the Pokémon style battles. I really hope Nagi becomes the last ninja becuase seeing him with the end shuriken was awesome. But, what's up with Kinji though at the end?

The way I perceived it, Kinji is feeling more and more like he has his own path to go rather than working to become the Last Ninja. My guess is that since he gained his new power by defeating the Youkai within, he wants more to follow in his father and brother's footsteps.
Out of many of the specials and fanservice episodes for Sentai over the last few years, this is up there in the top five for me. Elf Fuuka is my roll for initiative. I just want to get to the crux of the Kyuemon plot. He just keeps on like the Energizer bunny, and it's getting tiresome. But hey, more special guests coming! Bring on Magi Yellow! It's like the Gilligans Island of Sentai.

I dunno, the other villains still aren't all that interesting. Besides, if they saved him from the episode where his mech was defeated, they clearly have something big in store.
