Well when it comes to Dredd you couldn't really show the good stuff outside of redbands.... did Dredd ever have a redband trailer it's been a while. Still this sounds like I might check it out Saturday.

Absolutely loved it! I thought it was faithful to the original while modernizing it. Loved how it didn't take itself too seriously.

Y'know, with the amount of positive reviews from people I didn't think would like the movie at all, I'm willing to give it a chance when I can, but some of the fans (read: SOME, and no, not anyone here) are pretty annoying. Dismissing critical negative reviews and telling people to see the film is just... hypocritical and small. Why should we disregard critical reviews, but follow your recommendations? Bruno did this and it kind of discredits him IMO. He's always been kind of a blind PR supporter, not really critical to anything PR or Saban or BOA, and sometimes that's refreshing when people are irrationally harsh on PR, but comments like that just sort of... rub me the wrong way.
But I still actually want to see it now because, again, certain people who I thought for sure would laugh this film off are saying they really liked it. That has me interested. |

Legitimately shocked by the praise I'm seeing. I mean, I was one of the people defending the movie before, but even I was expecting it to be a throwaway, forgettable movie.
