I am not quite certain how I think about that, I think super Saiyan 3 was a tad over the top in terms of design and Ex aid looks a bit to silly for me already but I guess I will see.

It's every bit as terrible as 90% of the other suits on Ex-Aid. You do get used to them, though, and the story is more than enough to compensate for crappy suits.

You know I still really don't understand the hate Ex-Aid's suit designs get. Like I understand that they're the exact opposite of traditionally cool, and I didn't much care for them at first myself, but they're so well thought out it their craziness, and so perfect for the show they're a part of, I just lost the ability to look at them with anything but fondness around 5 episodes in.

The suits are cool but, only in how ridiculous they are vs how good the actual story is. That's "Ex-Aid Cool".

- The big anime eyes generally look really bad. - Ex-Aid's helmet with the funky anime hair (and the various Ex-Aid repaints by extension) - Everything about the level 1 suits (which, thankfully, rarely show up any more) - Almost every suit is a mishmash of garish and clashing colors: magenta and lime green, navy and neon yellow, canary yellow and pink, neon blue and neon orange, etc. - Most of the power-ups consist of attaching giant blocks of stuff to the base Rider suit. The vast majority of them do not color match the Rider they're attaching to (Ex-Aid and Snipe's red armor, Brave's yellow, Genm's pink and green). Several of them also fail to match up thematically, Brave's baseball cap and turntable being the worst offender. - The proportions on Maximum Mighty X and the fact that it's just regular Ex-Aid wearing a big suit. - The sparkly dreadlocked wtf-ery that is Muteki. To be fair, there are some suits I like - most of Brave's power ups, for example. Out of the entire show, though, there's only one suit that I would say is legitimately great: Dangerous Zombie. |

On another note entirely, I had a thought about another anniversary rider, should they ever do one. Since legend rider forms have kinda been done to the death by now, what about a rider with forms based off previous collectibles? Like, an Eyecon form with ghost summoning powers, a Gaia Memory form with USB plug fingers, etc. |

I love all costume designs in Ex-Aid Riders, I love character development, and storyline too. But some things I dislike about Ex-Aid is :
- Some forms like Level 3 become rarely used and Para-DX never uses his Level 50 forms anymore. - Ex-Aid never use Bike Gamer again for transportation and for combat. - The energy items usage also become rarely used..... - Boring battle against weaker Bugsters because they always killed and then revived again. I really want new Bugsters born from some game like Dangerous Zombie, Pefect Puzzle, Taddle Fantasy, etc. Last edited by Blade Fang; 07-02-2017 at 04:12 AM.. |

I think the suit is fine, the dreadlocks are something new I haven't seen much on Toku hero suits yet and the golden star motive fits the video game theme very well. Quote:

Not gonna lie, this show being as good as it currently is makes me glad I was on the "Give it a chance first"-side back then. Since I know a few certain people will think I'm talking about them, no I don't mean you guys, you tried watching it and it wasn't for you. I'm exclusively talking about those who never even watched a single episode of Ex-Aid and think the show is terrible based on promotional images. And even if you decided not to watch Ex-Aid based on the looks, that’s fine, again I really only target those who were vocal about the quality of the show based on the promo material here. |

I understand the hate. They are some incredibly goofy designs, with an obnoxiously bright color pallette and some weird anime eyes. But I friggin' love them.
