I pre-ordered this and it's easily the best model kit I've ever assembled. I'm sort of tempted to sell all of my Gunpla to make room for Super Minipla now

Great pictures Den-O. I hope this ends up getting the Chogokin treatment.

You and me both! I'd rather not shell out the $1000 or so the vintage DX's go for

Looks too sleek to me to be a Sentai Mecha
I'd believe it was a G1 Transformer |

---- I swore I'd buy pre-Zyuranger mecha if they released it in minipla...so I did. And it's pretty good at $40-ish shipped. Can't say I'll hunt down the over-priced exclusive Live Boxer, though. I'll second hopes that, if this sells well enough, they'll either continue doing more pre-Zyuranger mecha for SMP or go full on DX SoC. I'd honestly rather have the latter. Live Robo could easily be a SoC figure that could fall more in the $200 range instead of the massive ones that go for $300+. |

Like the next is Kaku, but the one after should be another pre-Zyu, and they are supposed to go back and forth like that. With the dividing line as Zyu for eras(essentially "Power Rangers" and "pre-Power rangers"). With possibly re-doing the Zyu ones in the future since they didn't get the full treatment because of unsure about how strong they would sell and this entire concept of old mecha kits. But then they sold so well that Brachio got the full treatment. So they might do Zyu with a redone to go with the perfectly done Brachio later. (Gotta wait until all those units move first, so give it a few years for them to come back to it and do a full thorough that doesn't involve parts swapping and uses hinges for storage doors. The first one was more a test to see if the super sentai past series ones would have legs.) |

Absolutely if you get the chance to do so. Personally I think it is one of the best 80s sentai shows around.

I wish I had half of the patience that it must take to build something like this

Another great review and gallery Den-O. This is a line that I'm a little apprehensive for, mostly due to my not fondness for model kits ( even though I have recently gotten my first Gundam Model). I've always been a little apprehensive towards them because of the building aspect, and also not knowing what the plastic quality is like, or how they feel. This is a nice design though and it's great that there's a kind of affordable line now where we can get these mechas in
