How are the joints on this guy? My Dekamaster has some really loose spots.

Very solid actually. Everything has just the right amount of play in it. Though I do feel the ankles are far far too tight. But everything else is great. I'm in the middle of the Shadow Ranger review as well and so far everything is nice on him as well. Just tight ankles again.

Good day all, the Lightning Collection is off to a great start! These guys are very difficult to find in stores though, they are online but you run the high risk of getting a figure with defects. I'm new here, is there a sightings forum like on TFW2005?

Call me crazy but I think this release is even better than Figuarts. Part of it being they don’t feel as fragile. I saw Tommy at my local store, but the paint on his helmet was imperfect. Dang

I'm skeptical, but my Sentai Figuarts aren't aging well, and I could never justify the aftermarket cost of Kibaranger to begin with. Because these are understandably Power Rangers, some of the accessory budget will be spend on accessories (civilian head for whatzisname) I couldn't care less about.
We'll see what they release going forward. DekaMaster is tempting, but I'm relatively immune to Zyuranger/MMPR. If they make, say, Gekiranger/Jungle Furry, however, I may be in deep, deep trouble. |

I've had this guy for a while and he's grown on me, which says a lot because I liked him and Shadow Ranger a lot when I got them, but this ticks off more boxes for me than the Figuarts ever did. They even got the subtle texture in the chest symbol. They also got the Helmet right unlike the Figuarts.
Can't wait for MMPR Red. Actually I'm pretty excited for this line's future in general. |

My White Ranger has some loose joints but I'm still pretty happy with him. QC issues aside, (I hope they improve though) I'm still excited to see more of this line.

Given how many people are reporting not having QC issues, I'm betting (and hoping) that this was just a first run issue. I see them a lot in Transformers at least.

The QC issues aren't consistent. So my DC Red seemed fine until I look a look at the back. Hey I hope it's just first run issues. Without those QC problems, I think these are near perfect.
My only other problem is Shadow Ranger's box. It depicts him with a lot more paint apps then the final figure. I'm fine with the paint they chose not to apply but still it's misleading promotion wise. |
