Another fantastic episode!
The start was a nice throwback to Orb, even Juggler had to smile Riku gets kidnapped, as expected, and there wasn’t too much interesting stuff in there except the action scene with "tiny" Z which was great! Him fighting/dancing with Yoko was perfection. But what I liked most about this episode was the action scene at the end because damn, the camera angles, fight choreography and miniature work were beyond excellent! The ending surprised me not only because Zero left (saw that one coming) but Geed as well. Given that he got DX toys and stuff I assumed he would stay in the show. But - I did notice how much screen time he took and I agree with what has been said in this thread, it's better for him to have an amazing guest appearance for two weeks with all the action I could possibly ask for, and then let him leave so Z and the gang can get back into the spotlight. Overall I enjoyed Geed's little visit, although I hope he return for the finale or something along those lines. Next week we'll get a scene I was looking forward to: The debut of gamma Future in a beautiful night setting! |

I think this also settles the question as to whether Juggler is a good guy in this show or not. He may get bored and mess with Z from time to time, but it's pretty obvious now that he really is just trying to help. I think most people figured that already, but it was still good to confirm that.
Beyond that, Juggler now knows who the bad guy is (can't remember his name to save my life) but since he doesn't want to out himself it seems like he's got a secret investigation on his hands. I'm betting the B plot from now on is Juggler investigating. While not the first time, this episode also gave us a rare look at how form changing actually looks like to your average onlooker. We normally always see the toy advertisements/protagonist perspective, so it was nice to see what the average person sees. |

I thought it was mostly OK. I really don't like Sakamoto having to force in out of suit action scenes since it's just the same thing every. single. time and it's boring, it just feels like I'm watching an episode of Power Rangers and really sucks me out of the story. Plus what's with the weird filter that's in the episodes he directs. Anyway, plot stuff happens, yada yada yadda.
Next Week, more Sakamoto fight scenes...yay. Last edited by IndigoArms; 08-01-2020 at 01:56 PM.. |

I just found out that rather than being released as a soft vinyl toy, the King Joe STORAGE Custom will be a combining DX figure instead! Still scaled to the vinyls, but able to split into the individual components. That's pretty cool!

I find the King Joe Storage Custom being a DX Toy really, really cool.
Like... when was the last time we had a non ultra related DX Toy that's just like something like this? |

Since it's a Sofubi does that mean it'll be cheap, as well as small enough to be kinda cheap to import? Because I was interested in this combiner already but... holy heck yes

And I agree, this is a really cool idea! Quote:
It's around ¥4000, so depending how low pre-order discounts get it should be around 20-30 bucks. Last edited by Kiwami; 08-01-2020 at 02:41 PM.. |

Yeah, this show's pretty good hey? Juggler, Haruki and Riku all covering for each other to keep their identities secret was fun. I like that Juggler is definitely a good guy, just in his own Juggler way.
The action scenes in this show continue to be absolute top tier. The 3-on-1 fight at the end of the episode was nuts. The Z and Yoko fight was also cool. As if she didn't already, but Yoko totally has a thing for giant red and blue guys now. Preview for next week's episode is sweaty girls beating each other up. So another Sakamoto episode! |

Can’t figure out imgur for the life of me (nor do I k ow anywhere I can get the pictures) but they’ve revealed the full features for the Dark Z Riser. In addition to the Hebikura Access Card and the Zetton, Pandon and Maga-Orochi medals, it also has voice lines from the actor (no duh) and medals for Fire Golza, Melba, Super C.O.V, Gan Q and Geizogebas (I still can’t spell that name for the life of me). The first three of those can be scanned with the Kaburagi Card to create Tri King, while scanning the latter two after creating that fusion will give you Five King.
