I kind of suspected that Kiramager was Toei's attempt at doing a show with less toys, more of a return to older times. And if thats so, I think the results of Kiramager might dissuade them in the future.

As far as I can tell the functionality of GP and SG are the same, which means I can tell you that yes, they DO have sounds... but there's a catch.

As the video demonstrates, you for instance need to press a button to cycle through which Driver you're using in the first place so the GP/SG key knows what sounds to play -- the build of the keys are a lot less complex than the DX versions so this is their workaround. Which I think most would be fine with, but the REALLY big catch here is that the button used for that is the same place where finishers would be activated -- so you can't do a finisher with the GP keys. If you try, you'll instead cycle to the transformation for another driver.

Tldr, the GP/SG keys do basically function; but only for transformation and not for finishers, and you have to cycle through to the correct driver first.

Same, which is why I can put up with OOO's only key being that way

The other obvious difference is that the GP versions are split in half for you to assemble, leaving a seam down the middle of the key.

The DX Drive progrise key might drop on Amazon. I waited on the Kabuto key using CamelCamelCamel and picked it up for $13

Yeah I'm gonna be keeping an eye out on Amazon. DX toys are weirdly priced on there, but sometimes there are good deals.
