Potential spoilers so look at your own risk
It seems there are specific connectors that allow it to combine with DX Gridman https://imgur.com/a/gC7P2LP |

That cracking on Dyna Solider is a little concerning but it will not effect my enjoyment with the toy itself as I have a couple of Transformer figures that go through that same issue but because of the price for Dynazenon...I can understand why people would have concerns. Anyway enough about that as I can’t wait to have it standing with my other super robots (Lion Voltron, Vehicle Voltron, GaoGaiGar and DX Bike Robo) they are gonna look awesome! Plus I had a feeling that this toy could be able to combine with Gridman so it makes me wonder if the old cast from SSSS.Gridman will make an appearance in SSSS.Dynazenon? It would be neat if they did but I would be surprised either if it was just Grinan only. |

There was a mini-pla kit of SSSS Gridman and I wonder if they'll do one for Dynazenon. I prefer the smaller scale.

Got my shipping notification this morning so I guess I'll have Dynazenon sometime next week. Really looking forward to pairing him up with Figma Gridman.

sure looks like he's just another QC-riddled mess. |

Yeah, they really shouldn’t have included black gloves that abuse the toy; I will get rid of those as soon as I get mine.
Like, WTF? You literally see he doesn't peg things together properly, what is he expecting will happen if he shakes it? And oh no, the helmet comes off if you accidentally flick at it with your fingers. That's the one thing I was looking forward to do on mine, such a shame this key feature from the source material is not possible! And about the waist connection, this might be fiddly but GSC has shared images to help, all you need to do is line it up properly and maybe push the lever back manually so it sits better. I doubt this is a QC error as much as people doing it wrong. The one thing I will give this guy is the balljoints on Dina Wing have a tendency to pop off, because that has happened to other people. But they're balljoints. They made them that way so that you can put them back in socket. I will reserve proper judgment until I have mine in hand, but we have seen other people take this thing, shake it around and stuff and never did the things happen that happened to this guy. I don’t want to say he's incompetent or anything, but I would assume he didn't do things properly. Last edited by Kiwami; 05-15-2021 at 01:13 AM.. |

Yea, it seemed more like user error rather than an actual QC problem. Also, I don't know anyone who'd treat their $200 collector's toy so roughly like it's meant for children.

Honestly, the toy surviving this guy without breaking is more reassuring of its built quality to me than it makes me afraid of QC errors

As the that one ball joint on Dyna Wing, some good old floor polish will fix that issue up. |

I don't even need to watch that video to know it's an overreaction.
You don't still run into the same QC issues as DX Gridman when you went to Sentinel...SENTINEL...to co-produce and develop this set. Some minor ones? Perhaps. But with Sentinel's track record you won't get a wobbly mess of jingling plastic parts. They're better than that. Trust me, I get the hesitation with Dynazenon after how massive a disappointment the Gridman set was, I HATED DX Gridman, but after seeing all the hands-on demonstrations, walk-throughs, specific call-outs that go "Hey look, this isn't DX Gridman-quality!", etc. But using that distrust to fuel ways of finding negative aspects of this new release isn't exactly the way to go, either.
