Hoeru is the only Gozyuger to avoid being trapped in a dream.

A nice Bouquet centric episode topped with an on-screen win for Calendius! Also not surprised with Setsuna's fate, the bastard has it coming.
Next week, another Ryugi-centric episode which also shows Rei apparently transforming into Universe MagiRed!!! Last edited by Eclipyon; 08-31-2025 at 12:50 AM.. |

Well, this is a great conclusion to the two-part story about Bouquet. Despite the fact that the episode is focused on the action, there is a lot to talk about. First of all, the show again subtly reminds us that Hoeru has no dream. This time it turns out to be a plus, because without a dream there will be no nightmares. I also like how through the younger version of his wife they carefully emphasized that Kinjiro's dream is primarily a desire to regain his youth, and not just to hang out.
In addition, it's funny that it is Kandle who says the right encouraging words here. In general, in this episode he tries his best to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the audience for his behavior as Universe Shinken Red. I would also like to note that the final reprisal against the vile #2 was left to the no less vile #1 aka Kuon. Which is right, because there is no reason for more pleasant characters to dirty their hands with him.I must say that Akiko Inoue is equally good at vividly writing both cute villains and absolutely disgusting ones. And at the same time, the heroes do not get lost in their background. I also want to note that I liked how the Gozyugers defeated their doubles thanks to trust and teamwork. This is another small touch to what was once a great idea. As a result, a great story came out, after which everything returned to normal, but there is no feeling of wasted time. And in the next episode, the adventures continue and the most devoted fan of Tega Sword is again in the spotlight. |

Currently catching up with a whole bunch of episodes I missed since Wild Gozyu Wolf's debut and this thread is still stickied for some reason, so I'll go ahead and talk about it briefly.
Many people once complained about the Gozyugers' empty chest circles and now they get their wish granted in the form of AI, which many people also complain about. What a humorous irony. Clever reuse of Stacaesar's parts for Killer Battle Japan, but now I'm concerned that we might not get to see Stacaesar anymore. I recall there were at least 2 versions, so hopefully one of them stays intact. I appreciate the moral that the feelings of artificial lifeforms are no less valid than human feelings and researchers who put such arbitrary limits on their research have no right to call themselves that. Bouquet stayed true to her feelings and proved that Setsuna was the only phony between them. Quote:

Pretty smart for the Gozyugers to tag-team on the FauXzyugers. Also fitting that Wild Gozyu Wolf got the finisher against Battle Japan, as this was Asai Kousuke's final episode before retiring from his role as the suit actor. Hope his health improves.
