I'm not sure if I've ever elaborated on this before, but my dream Kamen Rider game is still an adaptation of Saber in the form of a very traditional, kinda SNES-era Final Fantasy style RPG. I legitimately believe a lot of the storytelling rhythms of that whole show would translate extremely well to that format. It's real easy to imagine fleshing the world out by hanging around Nothern Base between sidequests chatting it up with your fellow swordsmen, and the player would naturally empathize better with Touma's lows and highs if they got to directly feel the impact on gameplay as your party shrinks and grows throughout the narrative, building up to that endgame where you get to go to town with *all* the tools at your disposal. Just lots of opportunities like that waiting to happen, where the medium itself would enhance the experience of the story, and probably make for fun battle mechanics as you juggle all these cool elemental swords and books and whatnot.
It's such a specific niche there's literally no realistic way it would ever be done to the level I'm imagining -- or even at all -- but like, for example, if by some miracle they got Team Asano to make some elaborate Saber game in that whole "HD-2D" style, it could easily end up being a more definitive version of the show than the show itself. Just a shame nobody but me would probably care that much, then!
