So, is this a Metal Heroes revival? In any case, it's practically tantamount to a new show, as much time has passed and the market has changed significantly since the late 90s.

So, it's all about TV Asahi. Well, given Super Sentai's cult status, I think Toei has a good chance of finding a new home for the franchise. So to summarize what we know from actual reputable sources:

1. TV Asahi will no longer co-produce Super Sentai, leaving that franchise without a home for the time being.
2. A brand new Space Sheriff series on TV Asahi is replacing Sentai.
3. If Toei wants to make a new Sentai series, it will have to be elsewhere.

Universe Heroes is either a new brand Toei is creating to combine Super Sentai and Metal Heroes, or it's a rebranding of Metal Heroes itself. We probably won't know the truth of this until Toei or Bandai makes an official announcement.
