All Sentai Rings are gathered -but only ONE of the six Gozyugers can have their wish granted.

Well, that's the end of Kinjiro's storyline. We saw his family again, and the old man finally understood what it means to be a true party person. Or, to put it bluntly: to be truly happy. It's great that Knife and Cake helped him with that, even if they used very extreme methods. Also, given that the focus is on Kinjirou, it's obvious he'll lose. But he doesn't seem upset, and the eggs still work (A gift from Tega Sword? And his old friend, the Dairanger, won't be offended?). However, I liked that Sumino, for the first time since the actress change, wasn't a background character. I also want to praise the betting strategy for the rings. Kinjirou and Sumino, as well as Rikuo and Ryugie, have a strong bond, which allows for many emotional moments. And Hoeru and Kumade are the strongest, so their battle will be interesting to watch.
Elsewhere: Candle uses Calamity's power to save the No-One world. This is another interesting parallel in this episode: both Kinjiro and Candle go against their friends' decisions at the beginning of the episode. However, while one isn't ready to fight, the other's desires are completely opposite. And while Kinjiro ultimately makes the right decision, Candle may cross the point of no return. Essentially, what's happening shows that since his time as Universe Shinkenger, Candle hasn't made the right decisions. Kumade also sees visions of a far greater evil, meaning the Gozyugers will still have someone to fight together. Which makes sense, since the end of a 50-year franchise demands a spectacular finale. So I'm still enjoying watching. Especially considering that the next episode promises a concert by Rikuo and the much-fanned Lady Bouquet. |

Fire Candle is truly shaping up to be the most badass antagonist to date as Super Sentai ends. And Kinjiro may have lost his rings, but he's still a winner having finally found what he wanted, like Mesnick pointed out.

For the next bracket, Leon VS Tyranno, I'm a little conflicted about who to root for. On one hand, Tyranno has already been defeated once and with only one Ring is now the underdog, so I want to see Ryugi make it further with his renewed conviction before he loses for the last time. On the other hand, I think Hoeru and Rikuo have the strongest bond, so a final battle between them would be awesome! I mean, let's be real here, no way is Kumade beating Hoeru in the third bracket and I don't believe Sumino can beat either of the other two semi-finalists. Quote:
He's an old man trying to sound hip, so this is likely the intended reaction.
