Well he'll probably be using his beam quite a bit, so you'll likely be seeing Yellow Teo a lot. But don't worry he comes in other flavors.
FlameSubs on Twitter did translate them from the box so I'll list them out Yellow: Teocium Beam Cyan: Teo Arrow Purple: Teo Halo Orange: Big Bang Teo Knuckle Green: Teo Magical Shower Silver: Teo Barrier |

Purple and orange are the most unusual-looking to me. Green is also a beauty.

The new Ultraman is trying to be a vet.
I can get behind that. Quote:

I've mostly been able to stay clear of Teo leaks so the most surprising thing about Teo design to me was the nose, as it is a very rare design trait amongst Ultras and it does give Teo a more innocent look, which does fit what has been said about the show so far.
The interesting aspect about Teo so far to me is the production team, where we have the writer of Tokusatsu Gagaga and two head directors for the drama and tokusatsu parts. I'm interested in how that plays out, especially since the writer himself noted that typically in recent Ultra shows, the director is the one who takes leads of creating the worldview and overall narrative of the show; With Teo however, the writer instead is the one who took lead on that. I'm curious if the supporting cast is going to be the people he interacts with at his college, since there doesn't seem to be an Attack Team (at least initially).

The lack of red has me assuming it's slated for a potential power-up form that he acquires when he has the will to fight.

I finished watching Ultraseven. The Ultra Garrison members are less colorful than SSSP, but they're quite convincing in their roles and stories. This is especially helped by the excellent acting when it comes to showing emotion. Dan also doesn't seem like a weak spot on the team, as he did in Hayata. However, he's not exactly a full-fledged protagonist either. I admit, I confused him with Soga a couple of times.
I also didn't really like the way all the threats in the beginning were reduced to evil aliens. Granted, that's the core theme of Ultra Garrison and the franchise as a whole, but I still don't like this limitation. Fortunately, even with this limitation, the writers' imaginations have produced a variety of exciting plots. Kaiju also play a background role in this show. They often appear only to give Ultraseven something to fight. Even the aliens' plans often have nothing to do with giant monsters. Ultraseven's tame kaiju also failed to shine, despite the great idea. Nevertheless, my impressions of the show are mostly positive. The plots are not only interesting and inventive, but also unafraid to tackle complex themes. Yes, at times this leads to questionable morals and debatable conclusions, but I still appreciate the courage. The technical components and visuals are also simply magnificent. Many images will remain etched in the memory for a long time. For example, I really remember Ultraseven inside the crystal cross. The two-part finale was also quite grand and dramatic. So it's no surprise that the show has achieved cult status and practically spawned its own sub-franchise. Moreover, Ultraseven is a precursor to Pokеmon and Resident Evil. And also: ![]() P.S. It was only towards the end of the show that I realized that the name Ultraseven signifies the hero's recognition as a member of the Ultra Garrison. |
