Shunpei was definitely goofy, but I felt like the toned him down over the course of the series to the point where it wasn't so bad.
Plus, Wizard felt generally lighthearted... until the end. |

No one is worse than Shunpei. Not even the captain on Drive. Amane is just really obnoxious and sometimes kind of a reverse pedo.

Hello thread I have missed thou. lol
Hibiki Episode 21: Ah back to my favorite Slice of Life/Ass-Kicking Demons show after a long stint of GARO. I enjoyed that they are putting together that the Villains are getting stronger, and I am liking that they are getting stronger that they need more help to defeat the Makamou. Also interesting to put together that the Henchmen like people are all themed to the specific Makamou. Ibuki and Akira confronting the weird Dark guy was interesting, at least they have met him now. I enjoyed seeing Ibuki and Todoroki transforming together now only if they can kick ass together. I loved Asumu during his talk with Hibiki and he's just staring at the woman's boobs lol that's hilarious. I am intrigued with what's going on with the Old Woman they are visiting and what's wrong with her. Hibiki definitely moved fast to get a Doctor to her, that's some good use of that Oni speed. Interesting to see how Asumu is getting more interconnected with the Takeshi people with learning more and working at the place. I can't wait to see how they deal with both Makamou next episode.

Yes. But there's crush and then obsessive. She falls on the obsessive side of things.

Hibiki Episode 22: This episode was fantastic. Great use of Teamwork between the three of them at the end. The fighting was absolutely fantastic here with Todoroki and Ibuki kicking the Douji's and Hime's butts, I mean sure they struggled but that just made the fight more intense especially with seeing them use some of their elemental attacks (Loved Ibuki basically doing Guile's flip kick from Street Fighter and Todoroki's thunder punch was cool.) and them losing their weapons just to fight to retrieve them for the finishing blows. Akira was very helpful getting Todoroki his guitar back even though she got hurt I feel bad for her but she knows the risks and I love her courage running to do it even being wounded. Asumu and Mocchi taking care of the Old Woman for Hibiki while he got the Doctor was great in the sense that Asumu was confident in knowing what to get her while she was in pain and took charge of the situation. Hibiki is just so much fun and insane with running to grab the Doctor, then running the Doctor all the way to the Hospital then back to the old woman's house is just crazy how much strength and endurance Hibiki has. Though I love the crazy altruism he has that he would go to such length to help save someone. The Teamwork at the end I loved that Hibiki came up with the idea to harmonize their attacks against the fused Makamou that was just awesome, like an awesome Kamen Rider Rock Band super attack. I also enjoyed the scene back at Tachibana's where Mocchi told Asumu that Hibiki's influence has changed him for the better just showing that he has grown a lot and it has been for the better. I really love the companionship between Hibiki, Ibuki, and Todoroki; the three of them like each other and not really rivals and work great together it's very different to see and I love it. I also feel that I can relate to all three of them the weirdness of Hibiki, the calmness of Ibuki, and the eagerness of Todoroki; as well as other characteristics of each one of them that I relate to as well. Well like always with me I can't wait for more.
Hibiki Episode 23: Ah so we got Ibuki and Todoroki now we Hibiki and Todoroki. They are very interesting together lol. I like that Hibiki is training Todoroki in the drums to try to teach him something else. I enjoyed Hinata and Todoroki's talk that was a lot of fun. Now I haven't mentioned them before but I honestly enjoy all the side characters in this show a lot, Hinata, Kasumi, Their Dad who is the boss they communicate with, Hitomi and anyone else I haven't mentioned; they bring a lot of fun and enjoyment to the show with how they interact with the characters. I feel a lot like Todoroki with not getting something like the drums and then letting the anxiety get to you and want to drown yourself lol. Hibiki was pretty awesome using his fire sword in the battle with the Douji and Hime, this Makamou looks interesting, can't wait to see how they battle it and Hibiki new form next episode. I felt bad for Asumu having to play the whistle in his brass band club, but I also liked the Club President's explanation to him and that you can tell that he felt bad that he has to keep Asumu with this whistle. I hope things work out better for Asumu later. I always seem to watch Kamen Rider when no one else is lol. Hibiki Episode 24: I enjoyed the parallels between Asumu and Todoroki in this episode and how the sisters both told them the exact same story about Hibiki learning to play both the Trumpet and the Guitar and that doing something you don't want to do actually can turn out to be a very helpful skill later on in life. I like when Kamen Rider does it's parallels because it makes the characters have a form of similarity to them because my friends and I have that too. I'll also take random Ibuki comes in and helps kick ass because why not? lol. I really enjoyed Todoroki and Hibiki's training a lot, and especially it leading to the three Riders having a Taiko Festival and drumming the Makamou Mud men to destruction was freaking sweet. Hinaka was a lot of fun, trying to hide that Akira called him to pretty much help his love life that he's kind of oblivious too which is a lot of fun because I was like that when I was young too being oblivious. Hibiki's Kurenai form is really awesome, it makes me wonder if the other Oni's can train and go into a higher form based on their elements theoretically it's possibly but probably not shown. Overall great character building and action episode; The character stories progressed which was good and that the summer monsters appeared earlier and we got the new form I can say the story progressed too. Overall; fun, awesome episode and I can't wait for more. Hibiki Episode 25: A fun episode of the characters training and hanging out together. Hibiki's training was fun and finding out why he fights Kappa's alone makes a lot of sense too because he didn't want people to hear him sound like a chipmunk lol. I liked going a bit into Ibuki's crush on Kasumi and going into Hitomi and Asumu and why they aren't dating, because they probably do have feelings for each other. Todoroki was a lot of fun from swimming the wrong direction and basically saying that Asumu might like someone else or something it was funny when Asumu's Mom and Hinaka stared at him more threatening than any Makamou he faced lol. The friend of Todoroki was interesting. Fun episode and cool to see another one of the Oni too.

Kuuga is generally regarded as one of the best Kamen rider series and it has best cop character in the Heisei era kamen rider series, I would say the best cop character overall but I am not so familiar with the Showa era.

It is one of the best Rider series. There's no doubt about that.
