A Quiet Place was pretty good and I like it. I thought it very creepy and suspenseful at times. The movie remind me of Signs, but it was much better. I did really like how they didn't use too many jumpscares and it had a good cast of characters. I also thought the aliens in this movie looked really cool too.
Overall, I like it but the movie had some stuff that annoyed me (I won't spoiled them). I give it a 7.5/10.

I just finished re-watching Tropic Thunder which I haven't seen since I first bought the film on DVD. Hard to believe this movie is now a decade old. Nevertheless, it still holds up very well complete with a great story and a great cast. The fake trailers that take place before the start of the film are a real hoot.

I watched Mission Impossible Fallout last week (twice!).
I think Rogue Nation and Fallout might be my new favorite pair of action films. |

I watched Upgrade and I really like it. A very solid dark sci-fi action movie with great special effects and a message on losing your humanity with machines controlling over you and taking actions in your hands outside the law. Probably one of my favorite movies of 2018.

I saw The Predator today and I enjoy it. I give this movie a 7/10. Spoilers will be posted.
I like the characters in this movie more than I thought I would. I really like the main character and the Loonies. I like the personalities that they had and I was surprised that most of them got killed off. I also did enjoy the humor even though some of it did overstay its welcome. A lot of great action and gore scenes too. You get some awesome kill scenes from the Predators in this movie. I did have some issues with this movie like the Predator Dog, who felt really pointless other than saving Casey's life later on in the film. You also have the kid in the movie, who has a form of autism and the movie treats him as a special one that is very different from everyone. In the movie, they made him somehow able to learn how to use Predator technology when everyone else didn't know how to use it. I wasn't the biggest fan of Olivia Munn's character and I wish they didn't use CG for some of the kills. Overall, I like The Predator a lot and I do plan on seeing it again soon. It's got a bunch of flaws, but it is so much fun to watch. If you are a fan of the series, I say give it a watch. Ignore the bad reviews and see the movie for yourself. Just don't expect the movie to be as good as the first Predator movie.

Fun fact, the director of Kubo is the director of the upcoming Bumblebee movie. And his father is the co-founder of Nike. Not kidding.

My roommate and I watched The Meg on Blu-Ray. It was a very fun killer shark movie. I would recommended it.
