Wow, that really is a big improvement, though I still like the old one as well.

Amazon's still on my to-watch list. Great looking figure though!

This looks so, so good. Who can resist the aesthetic appeal of those crotch-handlebars?

This looks stunning; easily my favourite Showa era design. The design really fit with how violent and animalistic his attacks were at the start of the season.
Am I odd for wishing that there was a red chest plate accessory? Would have been cool to have the option! |

Another great figure, but of course Bandai has to keep up their record of not including what could be seen as essential accessories

I hadn't even realized that they did an SHS for Amazon until recently, but given the sorta resurgence in popularity for the theme I guess it makes sense. I really enjoyed the show, still one of the only Showa seasons I'm fairly familiar with (the original being the other). He definitely deserved the update he got here.

I'm still amazing by how much bigger the Seihous are compared to some of the older original figures. While they once sufficed, and despite owning quite a few myself, every new comparison still manages to wow me with how things can improve and that's great.
I should've gotten this to go with my Amazons Riders. Seeing the "old" with the new is pretty cool.
