I probably should have worded the poll and thread title to reflect the "I never hated him" option...
Well, "No! He needs a hug and a chance at redemption now." IS kinda like a "I never hated Micchy" option. Last edited by GoseiWonder; 09-01-2014 at 10:06 PM.. |

I still don't like him. He reaped what he sowed. It really sucks that others also had to suffer because of his ironic punishment.

For all of his knaiving, obsessiveness, you do can't help but feel sorry for the snake.
For the whole series, Miichi comes off as a bit of an underdog, with his plans failing and crumbling around him because he never really stops to think about all the variables or what the long term reprocusions will be. |

He's hit rock bottom, he's gotten the 3 most important people in his life killed all by his own doing. I honestly think he'll come back as a hero and help Kouta. I honestly hated him for all the betrayal but as the episodes went on I understood him a lot, that he was trying to do the right thing but did it the worst possible way. He needed to communicate better and it might have worked.

I see Micchy as a child who tried to grow up too fast and made some really terrible mistakes that ended up screwing him over. I do believe with time that Micchy will be able to atone for his crimes but he'll probably never be as happy as he once was before all this.

-Im not using spoiler tags as the title pretty much suggest you should be caught up at this point.-
Yes. Well, I never really hated him at the beginning, more he was just a weird character. Then he started being an asshole, thats when I started hating him. Now? Sure Kouta and Mai both forgive him even though they are both dead thanks to him, but I still say he should get whats coming to him. He shouldve realized Ryouma was gonna kill Mai the moment he left her alone with him. Im sure a certain new Overlord shall take care of that problem. But there is that photo of regular Ryugen suit, so I guess he will be forgiven by the final episode. Bah. Kouta and Mai may forgive Micchy, but I don't feel the need to do so. |

I´m pretty much in the "never hated him" camp.
Dont get me wrong he is a lying and backstabbing little child that tried everything to make himself happy and failed miserably at it while destroying everything that was dear to him in the process. And thats exactly what I loved about him. I loved hating him and I love seeing him being confronted with his actions and all the pain and suffering he has caused. Should he die because of it? If you had asked me this a week ago I would have sad yes. But now I´m not so sure of it anymore. It would be alot more fitting if he had to live with his sins and never really recover from all the damage he has done. Kouta and Mai have forgiven him but thats because they have a history with him beyond what we have seen in the show and Kouta is pretty much the nicest guy on earth. |

Huh, it's pretty hard to describe how I feel about him. Most of the series, I just rolled my eyes over him. I never liked him a lot when he was still a good guy, but he was okay. When he started his crazy plans, I always wondered what on earth he was thinking and I was like: WTF, Micchy? But I never really hated him. I started to feel sorry for him the last few episodes, because he's starting to realize that he has done so much harm and achieved nothing. He knows he's done something that can't be forgiven deep done, but he just can't turn back. It's really hard to know what's wrong with you when you can't seem to change something about it, so yeah, I'm more in the "He needs a hug"-camp, I guess.
