Oh yeah, it made perfect sense. It was just so badly executed.

I didn't have too many problems with the episode, mostly with stuff already mentioned previously.
I was partially annoyed by *quick google search* Seki's Himiko during the one battle. It felt like he was trying too hard to sound like a woman. Plus, SUDDEN ONPU GANMA! Other than that, I enjoyed the amount of character development it had. Last edited by Gold Ninja Drive; 04-21-2016 at 06:18 PM.. Reason: I accidentally hit the post button too early |

This was totally fantastic! This was great for everybody on so many levels. I am intrigued how Makoto awoke but more intrigued with his conversation with Commander Edith and if he really is the Sage who's been helping Takeru is he good or just manipulating Takeru. Onari helping Javert was wonderful and makes me wonder what Onari's past is like; he's a wonderful character that I know they play for comic relief but when he is used for his compassion and wanting to help out he's much better. Akari actually realizing she's in a slump and learned that she can't do much more was good, reminded of Kasumi from NinNinger and them having an whole episode dealing with how big issue that non issue was that it was no big deal here and she keeps trying to figure stuff out to help. I hope Javert might repay the hospitality and might join Takeru's side. Igor is delightful as a villain and I love him as Akari's rival I am intrigued with what the Ganma are doing in the background here. Alain was great too with learning what happened to his people and just seeing his whole world collapse and what he believes in and what he'll become from this will be interesting. Takeru was freaking wonderful this episode from trying to help Makoto, taking down the Ganma, almost freeing Alain's dad, but his emotional burst was freaking fantastic and how he just took down all those Ganma from it was one of my favorite moments from this show. Adel is a bastard and a great villain so far I can't wait to see where this goes. This show went from Kamen Rider Ghostbusters to Kamen Rider Game of Thrones pretty quick lol. I can't wait for Deep Spectre.

Yeah, I dunno. Watching it again, I didn't think it was as bad as some people are making it out to be. Learning to cry convincingly can be tough for even the best of actors, and with that considered, it was okay.
