I'm just curious about how they'd make Dairen Oh articulated. That armor is very chunky.

Dairen-oh also doesn?t have an easy/logical way to be split into multiple boxes inside the shipping container for the candy toy aspect without bloating it's size. As I keep going to 6 boxes for everything (2 for Ryusei-oh with the phoenix packed in as well, 2 for the lion and a box for the Pegasus and Kirin each) and that's not factoring how the sled for the Chi Palace mode or whatever it was called would be handled
Timeranger Robo is much easier to do in a variant of the Gaoranger packing format (Red and the Weapon in box 1, Blue and Yellow in box 2, Green and Pink in box 3) so my money is on that being our next sentai release The elbows are what I worry about. It looks like the shoulder pauldrons would block a bit of their articulation.

Houoh forming a set of waist skirts would mean that the wings would have to have some very curious hinge placements to ensure the legs aren't hindered, either, though.

Mmmm, I totally overlooked that. The "obvious" answer is to have a hinge along the line where the "feathers" connect. Or, they could have each [-shaped side of the skirt be separate and connect right above the leg via some type of ball joint (did that explanation make sense?) but I'm not sure how that would look...

I feel like that'd be easy for SMP. The joint setups they come up with for skirt armour and stuff is pretty intricate sometimes. I really don't think it'd be an issue.

I guess, lacking SMP's that feature skirt armor, I don't have a good perspective on how it'd be set up. I would like to see how it'd be done, though.

Yeah Bandai has done some impressive stuff to get posability into these minipla kits. I'm confident Dairen Oh will be no different.
Even Muteki/Shogun had impressive articulation when they really could've gone with less.

Is there anyone that has a spare, unbuilt, SMP GaoMuscle?
I am looking for GaoGorilla, GaoPolar, and GaoBear. I don't need/want the GaoRhinos/GaoMadillo |
