So with this series is that how they're going to play it? We get the back story for the Horror of the week. And did they turn Jinga into a werewolf? During the day he's normal good guy, but at night he turns into a evil monster.
I would have personally preferred them to just tell his story prior to him becoming a Horror. Which is what I thought that they were showing us with this series. |

Not bad Ep6 but. Eh. Nothing special to discuss except the inner fight was cool.
Low budget horror again. halloween mask on a dude = horror. And next ep seems not so good from the preview. Unless Touma is becomin an horror again I won't be hyped I think. |

Watched Episode 6. I'll agree with Omnikaiser, the inner fight was cool. It was definitely the best part of this episode and I can't wait to see how it'll play out in the future. The Horror of the week wasn't interesting and you can definitely tell they've exceed the budget or saving it for the later episodes as (like Omnikaiser stated), is just a halloween mask on a dude.
Next week seems like a Touma-focused episode. I hope it does better than the Fusa-focused episode. While I appreciated that they gave Fusa some attention and time in the spotlight, it felt like the writer didn't really know what to do with her or the plot. Although, Touma is the weakest link of the main 3 characters so I really shouldn't get my hopes up on next week's episode being good. We'll see. |

on a side note seems like they are not done milking Jinga's character popularity yet.
Right after this TV Show end, a theatrical play will happen named "Kami no Kiba - Jinga - Tensei (reincarnation)". Don't know where it's supposed to be placed in the timeline. the VR Trailer has Evil jinga talking to us and present bits of the play. at first I thought it's supposed to happen between the movie and the reincarnated Jinga from this TV show, but the "end" of the trailer seems to indicate it happens after the show ? Aaaaaaand Episode 7. It's like a copy paste of the Shijo episode.
Nothing much happening. But still entertaining. And then the instrumental version of the opening that usually tells you "it's the end of the episode" happens quite early (18min mark, while the video is 24min long) => so yeah I told myself, something like the Shijo sequence will happen. And oh boy I was not disappointed. I didn't have the element of surprise like with Shijo, but still. Was he going to kill them both ? the dad only ? the kid ? 3~5min of pure tension. the fight between both kids was cool. But mostly because they filmed it in a weird way. Weird angles. Cam very close to the 2 boys. It made the scene very dynamic somehow, even if the cam was a bit too shaky at times. Last edited by Omnikaiser; 11-27-2018 at 11:36 AM.. |

I'm behind on this show because I've been watching other stuff. But I watched episode 4 last night and... oh my. I like where this is going.

Very interesting episode 8. Lot happening in it.
The horror in the garage finally didn't feel cheap. and this particular fight was cool and I didn't feel it overloaded with bad CGI. Ugai looks fishy. But the episode didn't really made it clear so I'm maybe mistaken, but he isn't really dead from my understanding right ? It was kind of a prepared move ? No mention of the slaughter from the previous episode. I don't really like when it happens, just like Shijo barely mentioned last time. Jinga is clearly not evil Jinga in this episode, but you can see he turns more and more into him. Becoming arrogant with his power. (Which is what Ugai wants ?) Quite the interesting plot twist at the end. And after seeing it I realized that the moment Fusa looked at the picture in the garage earlier was supposed to be relevant. I didn't bother to check, but the guy in the garage is probably related to the horror girl in the Fusa episode. only 4 episodes to go and I don't know what kind of ending they want to go to. My guess is Jinga fully turning in his old evil self at the end ? But I wouldn't see the point of this season if so... (except an excuse to make Jinga a protagonist) |
