I would, but I'm enjoying the posts relating to it too much

I voted yes based on the fact not only does he have more than a few lines he has a name and has interacted with all the rangers in and out of costume and has entire episode plot revolved around him. Now just introduce him to Gosei and it's a done deal. Oh, and the grey shirt.

I think what's more likely is him showing up in a few episodes time, and getting caught in the middle of a battle. Horribly scarred and near death, the rangers return him to Gosei who has the technology to rebuild him better than before. Jordan is gone, in his place the ultimate silver warrior - Robo Knight!
Of course, this isn't true because we all know Alpha 5 is Robo Knight

He could always learn. He doesn't need to be born a fan to be a fan. Hell, they could say that he was so happy to meet the new rangers and how they helped him out, that he decided to look up records of past rangers and their fight with evil in hopes of being one someday.
Most of the episode flew over my head as I was doing other things while watching, but wasn't he also a fan of the rangers? He said he wanted to help or something, right? I think Saban will probably have him save a girl while getting hit by a bus and put into a coma similar to Gai sometime. Then later during season 2, he'll come back as Gokai Silver and say he woke up from his coma with Gokai Celluar in hand blah blah blah. At the end of the episode, there was some interaction with him and Troy. When he caught that cup, I thought he was learning/getting better. Wasn't that what Gokai Silver was in Gokaiger? He wanted to be accepted/fighter with the Gokaigers? |

Of course, this isn't true because we all know Alpha 5 won't be Robo Knight I honestly think Optics is on to something. It wouldn't hard for them to throw him in a coma trying to be a hero, and get visited by White Dino, Quantam, and Green. |

I'm voting no. Who says Jordan is going to be the Silver Ranger? I say he gets to finally become a Ranger and he could heroically end up sacrificing that power to help one of the current main 5. And also to help explain why Jake is driving a Green Zord next year.
(Hint: Jordan gets to be Megaforce Green, but Jake's Morpher gets destroyed or something and Jordan gives his Morpher to Jake, since he feels the most heroic, Ranger-ly thing to do is to give up his Powers to help another continue the fight) US!Gokai Silver is the son of Billy and that Aquitian girl he fell in love with at the end of Zeo. Billy built his son a Morpher and Zord so he could one day become a Power Ranger. Gosei calls Billy and Billy sends his son (who is more than happy to be just like Dad) to earth in his Zord's spaceship mode to fight with his Silver Trident, LegacyKey Morpher and his HexagonKey Megazord. But Saban would NEVER do something THAT awesome. |

As much as I hated the character in this particular episode, I can see how he could have some redeeming qualities. He certainly has the motivation..maybe he takes what the rangers told him, trains and studies on his own, somehow finds a connection to the past rangers, then POOF! Gokai Silver. I don't think that'd be too much of a stretch.
I'd also mention, that if he wasn't portrayed as such a doofus, that he does actually fit "demographic" (I guess you'd call it that) of a ranger (fairly attractive, muscluar, etc). He doesn't seem like your average Bulk and Skull type goofball character. Plus, like someone else said, he WAS wearing a grey t-shirt. Though, rather than silver, I'd much more prefer that he died in a fiery explosion and was pieced back together Darth Vader-style into Robo Knight. Last edited by Deus; 02-27-2013 at 10:09 PM.. |

THERE. FIXED.
That title has been driving me nuts! Doubles as a pirate joke, too. Arrr.
