Is it wrong that I didn't give one care about the episode the moment the intro came up with the movie scenes? EXCITED!!!!!

This episode officially ranks as one of my favorites of this season. The visual direction for the fights, the contrast of funny with dramatic, all of it. Just so good. No motorcycling on this one, but the introduction of Sparkling didn't feel like a thrown on suit addition. I love how they keep adding a little more each episode to the overall drama.

Damn this episode.
I only like a handful of the Build suits and Sparkling is down the right down the bottom of the list (though it does look better in motion I will admit) but damn who cares when the writing is this good. Crazy to think we're only 14 episodes in and so much has happened. Stark was a great villain to begin with, but now we know it's Souichi and can see him out of suit it's like he's taken on some extra layer of greatness.

I find it kind of amusing that as soon as Build turns out to be good people say they don't like the suit designs anymore...
Fair enough on the alternate forms, but imo the base forms for the riders and Transteam users so far look great. In terms of overall series I feel Gaim may have competition with Build. Shogo Muto is proving an inspired choice of main writer so far and I've enjoyed every episode so far. My only concern is that toy sales may change the direction of the plot and lead to a situation like in Ex-Aid where Dan Kuroto and Kiriya both got revived (apparently there was a heavy rewrite around the latter half due to this). Just hope we don't have any characters who feel unnecessary in the long run and that the standard of writing can continue right the way through an entire 48 episode season or however long Build turns out to be, because we've had so much good so far that I fear the plot may end up having to be stretched to meet the full season length and we may be forced to get guest writers in to write filler episodes like in Gaim where three of the episodes were promotion material not written by Urubochi. Excited to see how it unfolds but I suspect one thing is for sure, war is inevitable. It seems like the natural way to esculate the conflict and who knows, maybe Soichi's training of Sento is meant to lead up to the acquisition of his final form.

Hazard level is the key to everything, I suppose.
I am thinking Souichi is acting like an evil Elon Musk and trying to elevate Rider tech to make astronauts that can live in Mars and terraform it. |

Gotta bring some balance to the lovefest here I suppose.
The first half was amazing in how it balanced ther seriousness with an shot in the arm of Humor but still kept the gears of plot turning. And then we get to second half where Shouichi comes back for the bottles, and man it crashed hard for me. I expected all the compliments to come from the first half and yep that's what it is. We got a load of tropey crap that dragged on for far too long in the end. I like the idea that Sento was thinking if he needed to use his power-up because he did'nt want to go all-out on Master but other than that it was trope after trope like the last second save and Cross-Z being useless anyway. It was all Kamen Rider Tropes too to boot. It was like they had this amazing set-up at the start and good resolution but a filler sandwich was what they had to resort to |

Those 4 and HawkGattling are the ones that I do like. The rest are just too random and without any emotional resonance for my taste.

I've said from the beginning I like Rabbit-Tank and Gatling-Hawk and find the rest (especially vacuum arm) to be completely ridiculous looking.
The big diamond on his shoulder, or the train track across his eye, the panda one, ninja-comic,..they all look ridiculous to me. Stalk and Rogue look cool but the unicorn horns in the middle of their foreheads look goofy too. But I've said that the whole time. Good show, good characters, ridiculously goofy looking costumes. Especially vacuum arm. I really hate that one and find it almost demeaning a Kamen Rider is wearing something so stupid looking. We've gone from something awesome like Agito Burning or Kuuga Ultimate Rising, or many other cool looking forms,...to a vacuum for an arm. Jeezus.
