It still shocks me how utterly inflexible and at times downright lazy collectors can be. I searched around and once I put, probably about 20 minutes into mandarake, I found hunting bargains, deals and new stuff to be a piece of cake.
I wouldn't touch a megazord at that price, because I got all my gokaiger stuff on eBay at a fraction of the cost. And if I want them now I could go on mandarake and find it cheaper. I wish you guys the best of luck |

There's a reason I have a page on my blog dedicated to every nook and cranny you can find Power Rangers Super Megaforce, Megaforce and Legacy toys. If you ask me for a Legendary Megazord, I can give you millions of links online and item numbers for stores, but ask for an MMPR Green 5" figure, I can tell you Ebay and Amazon corner the secondary market and give you an idea of the chances of finding it at retail, not a "Oh wow, it'll probably be $20-30. Good luck finding it."
I really don't think it's necessary to write a guide for that. We're not five years old and it's not my job to search links and find every sale because someone else isn't doing it themselves for whatever reason. Good for your blog and that's nice of you to do for the people that want BOA on the secondary market, but there's no reason to hold people's hands on every little basic thing. If you can't put in the effort of searching for something yourself, then simply miss out, its your own fault. Last edited by Starscream Gaga; 07-15-2014 at 04:27 AM.. |

Actually if the Gokaioh is the same price as the previous import editions, your better off buying it over actually importing it.
The Gokaioh, Gozyujin, and the Machalcon all pretty much have stayed at retail due to the series popularity. Doesn't help that they are all have massive boxes meaning your only choice is shipping ems. Gokaiger is one of the more expensive series to collect, I guess it must have been popular in Japan. |

Gokaioh, Gozyujin and Machalcon are all relatively expensive, but I'm talking about how cheap you can get the auxiliaries, which do all circle the 1000-3000Y range.

In the nicest way possible, try using your brain? Go on Mandarake. Search whatever series you're after. BANG. Done.

If you can't put in the effort of searching for something yourself, then simply miss out, its your own fault. Sometimes searching can't find something quickly, or even relatively quickly. For someone just getting into collecting these toys, this is a basic thing that needs explanation. If people are routinely asking the question, then I think we as fans are doing something wrong. You know where to find the cheap Sentai or Toku stuff. Den O does also. So does others. I know where to pinpoint BoA stuff. Not everyone does, though. I love Marvel stuff, but I only love it enough for simple Google searches or whatever comes across my path on social media. I depend on the other people who know where to find the information.

Don't hold your breath that this is a listing for Gokaioh.
There were listings earlier this year referring to a "Legendary Megazord" and it was actually Gosei Great. The fact that this flyer refers to "SP14" (Spring 2014) and is in a booklet that uses other Japanese images for things that weren't imported (Ranger Keys) is likely to result in more disappointment than excitement. Moreover, the pattern has been to release the Japanese zord the year after it gets used in the show. Additionally, Shinkenoh did not do well and shelf-warmed in many areas to the point that it was getting marked down. Gokaioh may have been doomed before PRSM even started airing. |
