That's like a child getting three wooden cubes glued together, each colored red, blue, and yellow and being told "Merry Christmas, it is the DX ZyuohKing you wanted!". I'll show you an emperor form *Transforms into Dark Kiva*

Den-O is a good figure, but he will look a bit out of place next to newer figures and especially Shinkoucchou Seihou's. Plus, the reissue is overpriced as hell and doesn't even include all of the original accessories, it's a cheap money grab. Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Den-O, OOO & Fourze all need to be redone eventually. Out of the ones mentioned Blade and Fourze hold up the best (could still use a rework though), the rest is either faulty as a release or the figure is so outclassed by modern releases that they don’t work with them anymore. If you have these releases in your collection already then they are perfectly fine stand-ins, and as toys they won’t lose out to modern figures just because they don’t look as pretty, they still are lots of fun to pose around. But reissuing these old figures with a rather hefty price tag, without all of their accessories – you’re better of waiting for them to be redone properly. Unless you like the character that much and have the money to spare I would skip them. |

The reason people say it is because people highly doubt we're actually getting Kiva after all this time

Is it? I always thought this was a Wikipedia-kinda thing where anyone could add anything to the database. Never gave that site a closer look before.
I also don’t know what sources these guys have that we don’t, the only "evidence" posted is the same teaser for the Figure Oh cover that started this thread. Seems like whoever made that page jumped to conclusions. They will be right eventually because I’m pretty sure that it is indeed Kiva, but I don’t see how this confirms anything. |

All that said, generally speaking everything Gaim-onwards is fine (barring the occasional QC slip-up, and of course the lack of accessories) and fits in perfectly with SS figures. The Gaim figures in particular are considered some of the best Figuarts iirc.
It's very fitting that Wizard is the first new figure under this line-up, since his original line was the last of the old guard in regards to Kamen Rider Figuarts.

Which reminds me I've somehow not posted about that yet. *ahem* WHOOOOOOOOOOOO! Kiva has persevered as my favorite Rider design and I cannot wait to finally see it. I'm so glad it's happening.

I hope they release a renewed Dark Kiva while at it.

I see potential for a lot of Kiva releases if the market is interested. You can get Gararu, Bassha & Dogga done by retooling the base form, Emperor would be a largely new mold but can be sold twice because Dark Kiva, and they'll probably make a new IXA too.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these are on display at Tamashii Nations next weekend already, if they don’t save the reveal of Kiva himself for the show but instead give it to Figure Oh like this thread suggests then maybe they have additional stuff to display at their big event. |
